I'm sure that you've been watching the news, or at least know someone who does. As such I'm sure you know how many people are suffering and how much damage has been done. As it stands it seems like there's too much pain for any one person to do anything. That's not the case, that's not the case at all. YOU can help! Even if you just donate a dollar or two, it'll go a long way. A dollar is a bottle of water for someone who hasn't had anything to drink for four days, or a sandwich for a child that hasn't eaten since their house was flooded.

Even if you don't have a dollar to spare there's something that everyone here, hell, everyone alive has to offer: Blood. It sounds morbid, but there's a huge shortage, and litterally everyone who donates can save a life.

Please! There's something that everyone can do! There's something that YOU can do! Even if it's just telling someone close to you how they can help. I'm including some links and phone numbers, so that if you're interested you'll know where to look and where to go if you want to donate.

Why don't we all send money to you, so you can handle everything.
Stop criticizing help agencies while you sit home watching TV.
What are you doing to help?

What am I doing.. hold up let me show you.... oh wait! I think I found it for ya buddy... JACK-SHIT!!!!

Yes that is right. I am doing jack shit to help the people in New Orleans but at least I admit it. There is nothing I could do to help those people anyways.

I can tell you right now you send your money to RedCross and we'll see if it ever makes it to those people.

You do realize RedCross still hasn't released money that was given to them after 9/11 and the Tsunami? What makes you think your money is going to be released this time?

And FEMA? well I wouldn't give any money to an organization that would herd me into some "disaster facility" when Martial Law is declared.

I got my gold, I got my food and I got my guns. When the next "Natural Disaster" strikes or "Terrorist Attack (ie CIA suitcase Nuke or Warhead)" hits I will be prepared with REAL money food and weapons. When the American dollar is completely devalued and all other countries try to sell off their bonds creating a worldwide economic collapse and oil reaches $150 a barrel.. I will be prepared.

Where will you be? Sucking your thumb? Waiting for the government to stand down and FEMA save you? Oh! I know! you'll be waiting for your box of money from the RedCross to help you through your troubled times. Too bad that if the box of money does show up the contents inside will be completely worthless which is what paper money really is.

Enough with my rant I have a Tony Montana sized bump with my name on it and my nostril is hungry.

This very statement speaks for most Americans and Middle Class citizens worldwide and is the very reason that we are being raped and laughed at like idiots.

"I seen it on my magical flickering box which I call the Television. If I heard it on there it must be true... right???"

Im sorry but I stand by everything I said in that post and wouldn't be surprised the least if it happens. I do know for a fact that it is going to get worse.

Everybody sits and twiddles their thumbs and feels like they are making a difference by giving dollars to a organization that will gladly take their money and laugh. Such corporations dance like fools for opportunities like this to take the money from the yuppies who don't really care but think they will have the image of someone that does after they donate.

All you can do is prepare for yourself so you can actually help your friends and family when shit hits the fan.

Gotta wonder why the Government would deny accepting water filters from the French when people are going days without water and dying because of it.

Good thing I have my own water filter. A guy could make decent money sitting by the water which is all around that place, filtering it out, bottling it and selling it.

Bungie.net is selling a tshirt for $20, of which at least $15 will go to the Red Cross for those of you that like that org. Hey you get a sweet tshirt out of the ordeal eh? :D

Duppi, you're hilarious! I haven't heard anything that funny since I fist saw Blazing Saddles!! Seriously man, random, but good. You get props. :)

Anyhow, I know you're joking around, so I won't flame on you. Besides, it's good that you at least replied, 'cause it bumped the thread up to the top of the page, keeping it in people's minds. Thanks! I owe ya' one.

Moving on, yes, Bungie.com has released a line of T-Shirts helping Katrina victems, which is really cool 'cause you get a T-Shirt for it! :) I think I'm gonna' buy one later tonight. Also, if you're in a health position where it's possible, please give blood. It hurts less than Penis Enlargement and it does a lot more good, though your wife may not agree. ;)

Thanks again!

Oh, something else occured to me: Duppi, be careful, you're laying it on just a bit thick. There're some people on here who don't have as well developed a sense of humor as I do, they might not realize that you're just kidding, and not really being serious. :p Just a thought.

Thanks again for the bump man, you're doin' good things! :)

Aww aint the little fella cute, Stop bitch'n and read the facts

In times of disaster, the American Red Cross immediately mobilizes workers and supplies to address the urgent, critical needs of disaster victims, which include providing emergency shelter, food, water, counseling and other assistance. The Red Cross response to Hurricane Katrina is the largest response to a single, natural disaster in the 125-year history of the organization.

So i dont care if you cant afford a magic box but you are on this site so read up on them before you start telling people not to give there money to the people thats helping these people out the most.

Thanks dee! *Clicks the link.* Oooo... cool!

Anyhow, don't be so hard on Duppi, I really think he was just being sili. I wouldn't hold humor against a person. :)

Naw that wasn't humor he called me out, its because people like him why it has took so long for them to get help so everyone its ok to give to the redcross.

People like me are the ones you will buy your clean water from when this sort of disaster comes to a city near you.

People like me will have extra food and might lend you some gold to get you through when times get tough.

People like me will be more than happy to lend you some guns and ammo to battle the bastards that put us in the mess to begin with.

Since you are telling everybody to donate to RedCross I must ask you, have you donated anything?

Yep, donated $200. :) Anyhow, even if you're not a big fan of the Red Cross there are plenty of other charities out there that you can donate too! I'm sure you could even find one that you'd be a fan of, Duppi! :)
