A water based cement worked for someone who had this issue. You can also snap some pictures and send them to Bathmate, if you are in warranty they will replace it.

My seal is also falling off but I'm still good to go. I have some inner seal bike tire repair kit around and the glue from that should seal it.

Did you get a bootleg knockoff? I had mine for awhile and it works great!!

Peace,
SD

thanks for the answers guys !
dld- im trying to get my hands on a camera so that i can do what you told me , but who do i send it to . you see im canadian so i got it from Bathmate.ca , i dont know who to talk to. also whats the process like , what is thew best way to go about this . thanks!

red- that sounds like a good idea the only thing im worried about is , wont it seal and then turn hard. because someone else tried some sort of glue and said it didnt work becaus the glue has to be flexible. let me know if it works becaus ill deffinetly try that out if so! thanks!

super dick - no , my Bathmate was directly from the site .
it worked well so i like it , but since it broke so quickly im more than a little dissapointed ! hey if that knock off works for you then all the power to you man !

Seems to be an ongoing problem with these pumps and the seals. Agust should address this on the forums instead of posting about stories at the Berlin erotic festival and how the Bathmate has become a top product. Get the seals fixed, advise and take lead because as it stands the product is very good but the seal pads are shit with a capital 'S'. Why the hell should anyone keep gluing them, sure its easy to do and fixes it but no we wont keep doing this. I expect in future revisions for the product line to have NO defects in its seal.

mine also broke off half way but is still working, thinking about sending it in aswell, but aslong as it works i don't really care. there is no wonder for me that plastic+glue+other materiel+water+friction= hard to solve.

but ye get in contact with Bathmate (should be able to find where on their homepage) and send them a picture

you got it red , thats the way a product should be sold! even thought they will most likely ship new Bathmate to people with defects , its still a pain in the ass to go thru the whole process again .
expecially for those who are trying to keep it discreet and live with other!

but anyways in the mean time red i found this rubber cement adhesive made by elmers its called - elmers stix-all gel ,
it sound really promising maybe making an end to having to worry about the foam ring falling off.
it says that it will stick to anything even styrofoam underwater and is flexible ! check it out on the site, let me know what you think! thanks.

Yeah, I'm the one that used krazy glue on mine, and it worked fine. Just make sure to remove the old adhesive sticking to either the rubber section of the Bathmate or if its on the rubber ring, get it off there. If you glue the ring back on with the old adhesive, the ring will just fall off again in a few days of use. My suggestion, run the ring or the Bathmate under hot water until the film of the stuff comes off, wait for it to dry, then seal it back on, being pretty liberal with the glue.
I noticed I had the problem afterward of once the ring was back on with the resealed ring, that my skin was rubbing against the plastic on the outside of the Bathmate since it was so pressed into my skin. If this happens, get yourself some J+J FirstAid Waterproof tape, and then line the rougher edges of the Bathmate with it. You might have to replace the tape every so often, but its not often, and it works great and is comfy as hell.

I sent a message to Agust and he should respond to this soon.

Mike

thanks dld !
hey bluetard how did you get the original adhesive off , mine is quite hard to scratch off!
also what do you mean when you said that you r skin was pressing against the plastic, did you mean the Bathmate or the hard glue .
im very supprised that the super glue worked becaus i thought it wouldnt have enough flexibility, its great that you made it work for us! thanks

Yea it is an issue, my last one had that and the one before that had it too. Hope you get things fixed on it soon.

i got the same problem, with the bottom ring, and i dont wanna go through the whole warranty issue as it took me 3 weeks to get it last time. so whats the riginal glue that is used by Bathmate ? or any other glues i heard epoxy is prob the best for a rubber surface as it is flexible aswell

It seems that when guys do this fix it makes it stronger than the original seal....Plus, this is a great fix for those out of warranty.

Just so you guy's know do not use your Mate with soap in the water and once done pumping be sure and dry thoroughly; that will help keep the pad's from disintegrating.

i just used a glue specially designed for wetsuits and it has worked great so far :)
