I am a newbie and received my Bathmate no more than 3 weeks ago. It seems as though when I use it, I can see bubbles forming at the tip close to where the release valve is and I seem to start losing suction. I don't lose the suction alot but i don't feel as though I am getting the same amount of suction I used to get. Any help or advise on this. Please advise. Thanks

Very good video! Also, search MOS for the Wine Top Modification, this is supposed to get rid of all air bubbles.

I just received my Bathmate, and I think I may need to do this. Bubbles, slowly enter as it is on. Also, if you try to fill it with water, it is continuously draining through the relief valve at the same time. I don't think that should happen, especially straight out of the box. I will give this a try to see if it remedies the situation.

Soyelmocano, it will drain out of the relief valve unless you hold it in. Hold it in while you are filling it up.

Wine Vac Modification should do the trick. You can also pump underwater to full pressure too, this will get rid of bubbles.

This is very true. You need to hold your finger over the bottom. As far as the OP is concerned I would suspect you are not getting a good seal. Do you trim your hair? When I notice I get bubbles that tells me its time to trim again. Once I trim up I don't get bubbles.

i had this issue too and wasnt sure if it was a faulty Bathmate or not. When i got my first Bathmate 2 weeks ago the first 6 days with it went perfect no bubbles or anything. Then all of a sudden every time i would use it i got air bubbles and i would lose the suction and it became unusable.
I just recieved my new Bathmate today and tryed it, There is bubbles still but they appear much slower than my last Bathmate. The funny thing is when i had trimmed pubic hair i didnt hardly get any bubbles but soon as i shaved it fully down i seemed to get bubbles.

Couple things to try:
1. Pump under water, this will eliminate bubbles.
2. Use a bit of Vaseline around the seal that touches the body
3. Trim pubic hair to about 1/4" (in your case grow back to that)
4. Wine Vacuum Modification

I cleaned the valve in my Bathmate twice like in the YouTube video and unfortunately I'm still getting bubbles... this problem jsut started to happen in my Bathmate.. Will the WineVac mod completely fix this?? Im going to get that with the universal sleeve.. I need my Bathmate to work and its a pain in the ass to have to take a bath everytime I want it to work properly..

I posted in the winevac sticky thread but no response.. will this work?? http://www.amazon.com/Vacu-Vin-V-15-...d_sim_sbs_hg_2

Link not working but, yes, the Wine Vac Mod will fix this issue.

Are the bubbles comming in from the bottom or the top? Also when they are comming is the Bathmate pointing up or down? I say this because it makes narrowing down the problem easier and the solution easier. I am having an issue with my X-40 right now. I have been a herc user for months now so I know how to use it and have some experience enough to know that my new X-40 piece is malfunctioning or something isnt correct with the unit. If we are having the same problem maybe it can be resolved on this thread. thanks guys.

My X-40 is doing the same thing. Im not sure why. I have had the same issue with the hurcules though, and when I had the issue with the Herc, I think it happens when I do not have enough pressure built up? After getting some decent pressure/suction with the Hurc is does not do that. Im not really sure what to do with my X-40, now it is sitting in the drawer! I did by the wine vac thing and extra rubber stopper things or what ever. However they do not fit over the end of the Bathmate! They look different than the wine vac mod thread. They are very stuff and not very pliable. I dont know what to do next to get this mod to work.

if you dip the rubber stoppers in boiling water for 10-20 seconds then try to stretch over. if that doesnt work, stretch over something smaller leave on it for awhile couple of days then try to stretch over something larger etc.
