I can't get any cable or DSL where I'm at and wondered if anyone has had any experience with satellite high-speed internet service?

yep I did hear they have more than any US satellite and even a all male gay channel late at night. but personally my life isn't all about so I'm all set. as far as your buddy having a "black card" for dtv...I would call BS bro...unless it's a sub'd deal they are selling illegally in canada, but I bet it's not wide open or he'd be a very very rich man. none of this is against you bud, not in the slightest, I don't have anything to do with that stuff myself but I do know a local that is very big into it.

Think of it this way on dial up your looking like snail speed, whereas on satellite and broadband you are flying in a jet. F16. If you tried to down load the SP1 service pack on dial up it would take five to six hours, whereas on satellite broadband, the same information would take about 20 minuits.
