hey guys i have an air pump by vacutech really great product fyi...my question is in regards to max pressure to use for a newbie i've read in other penis forums that you shouldn't go past the manufactured recommended pressure or 5gh max when starting out also what is a great routine for the first 2 months?

That's a really good question, and I was considering starting another thread to address this issue. For me, 5hg is quite low. Even 10 is just a good pump. But then, I've been doing this for decades and most often without a gauge to show exactly how much hg is being applied. That said, I have been using the X40 off and on for several years and I know that by simply using the built in pump, the pressure is not enough to cause problems. But, if you utilize the vac-vin (a wine pump used to pump air out of an unfinished wine bottle to help preserve freshness), then you can achieve very high levels of vacuum. it's not measurable because there is no gauge, but based on what I have experienced with the new Provac cylinder (and this would apply to the regular mityvac cylinders as well as your vacutech cylinder), and with the use of a hand pump with gauge, you can easily achieve pressures exceeding 20hg, which is very high. Is it too high? I don't know. I've done it many times, and other than some fluid retention and light bruising, I've experienced no major injury. Still, caution is key, and everyone's vascular penile structure is different. I would recommend lower levels, at least at the beginning, to see how your dick reacts. Injury is not conducive to gains and will, if anything, set you back. Now that I have the Provac cylinder and my own hand pump with gauge, I may be a little less, shall we say, enthusiastic? I should point out also that relying on a pump for girth gains may be an easy-way-out delusion. In my early years of PE, I used only pumps, because that's all that was available. I was able to achieve great girth increases, but they were always temporary. It helps, for sure, but in my opinion, the manual work ie jelqs, uli's, compression squeezes, clamping (with caution)etc. are the foundation of girth building.

I've been using my MityVac for the better part of a month and routinely maintain 10 Hg for the 10-15 minute sessions (a couple times each day)...so far so good

Great thread brought back to the front! Nice bump!

Hi all,
Also new to pumping here... I see 5hg and 10hg on the site here, but looking at my guage, are we talking about the red numbers with the negative sign or are we talking about the solid numbers?
Thanks for helping me understand HOW to read the guage!

Solid numbers ? positives

Haha... I see what you did there... Thanks DLD, I appreciate the clarification and the positive gains!

Keep it fun and fresh and always on the positive side! This is very easy to do if you become thankful for all things God gives you. The more thankful you become the more positive your life will be.

Hi everyone quick question. I was browsing penis pump information the web and I came across this website that stated that air pumps only help with ED and getting erections but do not increase length/girth over time, and only water based penis pumps increase length/girth over time. Is this true or do they not know what they're talking about?

false ?

water pumps give a much more natural and safer experience. Air pumps are notorious for discoloration, blisters and thrombosis. You will not find that in the Bathmate unless you go way overboard. Since you are here in the brotherhood you’ll know the proper method so you get awesome tissue growth with little issues. What I suggest after picking up the BM is to put in place the SRT routine of 5×5×3. This will bring you the best expansion possible with the lowest possibilities of hurting yourself. Be sure to get your BM from our store so you can take avantage of all the extras and warranty.

if you’re still interested in the air but wanna try water also you could go for our Mityvac. This pump is a air and water based system that gives incredible intensity when using either.

Thanks DLD!

So what would be a good routine if i'm just using air pumps to avoid injury? Right now i'm doing 2 days straight and 3rd day off. I do 5 minutes, take a 1 minute break then do another 5 minutes (so 10 minutes total per day). Would it be dangerous to increase it to 3 days straight? You got me a little worried with the Thrombosis stuff

Whether you’re using an air pump or a Hydro pump you want to always go with the 5×5×3 sound in SRT. This is the best pumping routine available and will bring tissue expansion like you would never believe. Give it a shot I think you don’t like it.

.my question is in regards to max pressure to use for a newbie i've read in other penis forums that you shouldn't go past the manufactured recommended pressure or 5gh max

I had to downsize to 2" cylinder first, as originally had 2.25 which just resulted in ball sucking discomfort.

now with the 2" cylinder I try and get moderate erection, then i enter the sleeve then put the pump on top.

I kegel and fidget around a little so the erection pushes into the cylinder firmly, Then i pump to around 5hg. I then warm the cylinder up, and repump up to around 7hg, this feels like a real tight pussy is balls deep on my penis, I hold this for 7 minutes, then redo the whole thing again.

hope that helps

Experiment.Try going up to 7hg for a short period if there's no discomfort you're good.Im a veteran pumper so 10 suits me fine.

When I pumped years ago, I *used to* pump at 15"Hg, with short excursions up to 18" or so. I got a big donut, but no other problems. (I didn't know any better; I'm not sure if that was a good or bad thing...)

Since I resumed pumping last year, I was astonished and dismayed to pull a painful blister at 5". It took almost two weeks to heal, and I restarted at 1" Hg - barely enough to keep the tube on - and I've worked my way back up to 3" over the last few weeks. I'm probably going to stay there for a month or so before moving up to 4", to see if things toughen up some before I make the step back to 5".

Start low, stay with that vacuum for a few days, step up 1" at a time. Feel your glans carefully for bumps or sore spots after each session. If you fell *any* pain or bump, give it a day or two of rest and back off the vacuum a bit when restarting.

A blister isn't a serious injury, but it hurts a lot (and more if it rubs against your underwear when you walk), and it's very discouraging overall. You aren't in such a hurry that a blister would be work the risk.

tl;dr: even with your own shaft, maximum vacuum is still "it depends."

Have you tried the SRT 5×5×3 yet? You will never get a blister with that and your temporary growth will skyrocket bringing permanent growth so much faster. With a 5×5×3 men can see a tissue expansion of up to an inch after a single session. And that expanded state is totally usable in bed with your wife

Go with a pressure 5-7 lasting 15-30 minutes and take a rest the next day. Repeat every other day, you don't need more pressure tbh, and can get a good pump with 5-7. Using other methods such as SRT 5X5X3 alongside the pumping drastically increases success, but that wont happen if the pressure is too high due to increased risk of injury, but small amount helps allot.
