I read through various posts, and most brothers that use the SS1 and SS2 are satisfied. I believe there may be a slight tweak to the SS2 in the future for hygiene purposes. But, I definitely want a few slight tweak to the SS later when possible. After using the vacuum system this far along, I believe I discovered a way to reduce infection, increase comforts, and outdo the market designs where they focused too much on marketing.
  1. The critical flaw on the twist type vacuum cylinder is the lack of maintenance. Once that sealing cap is installed, good luck with the access to clean the upper portion of the cylinder to clean, maintain, and prevent illnesses. Earlier, I posted about having two access holes at the top of the cylinder to allow a wire/plastic tool to push the sealing cap down, access to the upper cylinder chamber for disinfecting, and lubricate the o-rings, washer, and c-clip to prevent rusting. This is hygienically essential and a must on the future designs.
  2. Cylinder length/height elongation is a must. Some bothers have massive mushroom head glans, while most have normal size glans. But most glans cannot fit fully into the cylinder when the sealing cap goes all the way to the very top. By adding another 0.5 inch to the cylinder elongation, this is where the saving grace comes into play. Have the brothers noticed that the vacuumed air gaps are the glans' worst enemy? The larger the vacuum air gaps, even with the SiliCap, blisters (micro or larger) still form? I'll provide more info soon. But by adding this extra elongation of the cylinder, the entire glans, be of any length, will for comfortably inside the chamber for both comforts and vacuum strength with practically no blister formation. I've been using the cylinder without the SiliCap for weeks, and no blister. You probably say to buy a larger cylinder, but now you are introducing to more air gap for pointy/smaller glans tip.
  3. A larger collection reservoir below the sealing cap like the SS2 now. The current design is too small. The reservoir is great to collect unwanted leftover urine using a wicking cloth. This prevent moisture impact on the glans skin and minimize UTI. This also train the glans to have tougher epidermal in due time, while using water barrier lubricant.
Let me explain further on the elongation cylinder. I noticed the rim of my glans sits slightly inside the chamber even when the sealing cap is already retracted all the way up. I shoved and shoved and did my best to make sure the glans always sit inside the cylinder. Why? Flushing the bare glans skin to the very top, touching the sealing cap at all time, prevent blister formation. There's hardly any air gap at all. With SiliCap on, the potential air gaps rival of that without.

The trick I use for a great minimal to no air gap is to lubricate my glans with either a bit of castor oil (another discussion for water barrier protection at night), Vaseline, Vit E, or even hydrocortisone/bacitracin ointment. This allows the glans to be shoved far into the cylinder, flushed with the sealing cap at all time, and generate zero air gap between the glans and the sealing cap. Once the glans' rim goes past the bottom edge of the cylinder, I noticed the total pressure of the glans' is tip is reduced beyond 90%, and all tugging tension focused on the ligaments and penile shaft. No more pressure on the glans' tip.

Long hours of wearing without removal, around 2 to three hours, moisture builds up and impact the glans. For brothers that built up their glans skin, this is not an issue. Newbies will be impacted. I use both the toilet tissues and a wicking cloth made for vehicle washing (Shamwow). I placed either one between the glans tip and the sealing cap, and no more pooling fluid (urine) and condensation. No more chaffing and skin irritation at the glans tip. No infection either since the pressure on the glans is minimized.

The first month, I get micro blisters because of pooling urine and moisture either in the SiliCap or without one. Now, no moisture, no micro blisters, 24/7 stretching between 2 to 2.5lbs of tension, and 90% comfort without glans sensitivity because of previous vacuum air gap issue. The 10% remaining is the lack of space to shove all my glans past the cylinder's rim during movement at night, or during the day.

This is a huge thread. I will read through later and give you my advice as I have no time right now
