XL Condoms

Hey everyone,

Simple question - at what measurement can one comfortably and safely fit into an XL condom (Trojan Magums, etc.)? I am currently at about 5 inches girth and about 6 in length and one of my goals is to fit into an XL condom (silly, but it motivates me )

Well, I wear them at 9 bpel and 7 eg at base and they seem like they are a little small.

There are the Magnums (large) then the MagnumXL. I wear the XL when I've needed to. The magnums are too tight. I'd say stick with the magnums if you are under 5.5'' on the shaft. I remember the XL's being too loose when I was around the 5'' and slightly thicker mark. I'm 6.25'' on the shaft currently.

The Magnum XLs basically just have more "headroom", in other words, they flare out wider at the closed end to accommodate a large glans. There really isn't any difference in the diameter at the "ring" (the open end of the condom that grips the shaft). If your glans is significantly larger than the shaft, or if you just want a condom that is kind of baggy at the end, get the XLs. Otherwise I would stick with the Magnums.

When I last used condoms I was about your girth, or slightly thicker. I could use regular condoms but they were a bit tight. The Magnum size was more comfortable and never came off for me. I never had a need for the XLs but could use them if the drugstore was sold out of Magnums.

so, stillwantmore2, you mentioned that at around 5 and a bit inch girth (widest point), you were able to wear Magnums? If so, then I suppose I'm very close to wearing them then?

And, redbear52, you mentioned that you mentioned that you were about my girth and the Magnum never came off? Should I bother trying them on now or should I wait until I gain some more girth? If so, how much more do u think I need to gain?
