vigorous stretching

Hi,

I have been doing some hard manual stretching recently,
I grip the penis about an inch or so below the glands and i have been doing rotarys using both hands stretching real hard.
And also i do a type of rotary but just going from left to right or up and down pulling very hard and doing this quite quickly and vigorously and i have been really feeling this at the base of the penis.
I have been doing this over the last few days and yesterday i did quite a long routine and today the base of my penis was just a little sore, i still did some stretching today so it wasn't that bad.

I just want to check if this is a good sign or im over doing it ?
With the base of the penis being a little sore.

How does this type of stretching sound ?
Anyone also do this ?

Rotary stretches are awesome as they address every part of the penis (ligs and tunica). Your method sounds fine. The soreness is normal, particularly in a newbie or someone doing a new workout. It eventually does not happen so much but this does not reflect the gains you are making.
