This does seem to be something often overlooked when people wonder about aiming for a certain size. Swing for the fences. Stop when you're happy.

And if you are within 1/2" of your final size, in either girth or length, you already have a pretty good sense of how that extra 1/2" will fit you.

Very true and I think for many men they start out wanting a certain size but as they get bigger they realize maybe they set their goals too high. This happened with me.

Nothing can make me change my mind from my 9x7 goal. There will always be women who can take that size.
