I have always been a tad conflicted with the whole adult entertainment thing in my routine. I go back and forth on if its a good thing or a bad thing. I have never been dependent or addicted, so I guess that's what I go by. I see a big wave of psychologist and dudes with ED looking for a scape goat and feel like adult entertainment is just really easy to blame. adult entertainment is pretty natural part of a lot of people's sexuality. Really enjoyed the video. Probably worth mentioning that in Genesis 38 it discusses a man God struck dead for "spilling his seed on the ground." BUT, this was not because he was masturbating but rather because he was purposefully trying to avoid providing a kid to the wife of his brother who died...which was his duty under the Jewish law. If someone really wanted to delve into religious issues of masturbation, I think Jesus' teachings about lust are more relevant to masturbation and adult entertainment (Matt 5:28).

I appreciate that you speak of the value of discipline and controlling it rather than letting it control you. In the end, determining your own conviction and following it is what matters, not ill-placed religious guilt.

To add to this, I recently learned it's completely ok to pray for performance. Our Father WANTS us to have an incredible sex life. I don't think that's talked about enough in church. My wife and I were stoked to learn this.

I’m sure at some point there a libido changes just like ours does. My libido is 50% of what it was when I was a youngster. I figure they masturbate as much is man do but I think the way they do it is much different. I think they depend on fantasies and mental visuals over pornography.
