the more flaccid you are the better the stretch?

i have a theory that if you are more flaccid before a stretch you will get more cells to divide.

i came up with this theory while studying smooth muscle

when smooth muscle is contracted (flaccid) it is more dense oooooooooo
when smooth muscle is relaxed (erect, semi erect) it elongated, <><><><>

i will use a visual aid to explain my theory rather than use words

5 partially relaxed smooth muscle cells being stretched
<>-<>-<>-<>-<>
notice that you can stretch 9 contracted smooth muscle cells in the same space
o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

(these figures aren't accurate, its just to get the point across)

I certainly feel that a flacid stretch is more beneficial. Only problem is once I touch it and pull on it, it starts to get harder !
 
exactly man...thats why i hang.....but i do enjoy the safety of manual, it just cramps my hands

do you think this is an unnessesary thread? like too much common sense?

i think evryone has that problem of getting partially erect while doing manual...that must be why they developed shit to help with the manual...u ever try one of those bad boys? haha, they look pretty diesel
