Haha, i don't even know why i'm posting this really as nothing really happened and i probably saw it from the wrong angle as i'm so hyped up.

Recently i've just put girls aside. I'm trying not to get involved with anyone and i'm just enjoying not having anyone right now. My pubes are a bush etc because i've not needed to shave for anyone etc. But i think I may well shave tonight after today.

I know it's not a happy ending kinda story but i just felt there was little things she did that told me she wanted it. We never really lost eye contact and she had this sparkle in here eyes. I saw her name badge which her hair was kinda covering but it was still clear to read. So i said 'Your names (She can remain nameless) then?' and she flicked her hair off her chest and she just pointed at it and told me her name, after I clearly already read her name correctly. It seemed like she wanted to direct my attentions to her chest. She did have a very nice chest.

Considering I focus on form, she can't have been wanting to speak to me to correct my form. Maybe she just saw my big ole dick through my pants and she just wanted it. ;)

Whatever it was, she seemed pretty eager to talk to me, considering i had both headphones in, had a game face on and i was mid-set. You should ask the coordinator of this program if they are aware of the risk of Rhabdomyolysis (do YOU know what it is??) and what sort of preventative strategies they have in place to help reduce the risks.
 
Ugh. So i went to the gym, did half a workout and she waved at me, so i went over. We spoke for 45 minutes, which was decent talk. By that point i didn't feel like finishing my work out, so i said i was going to go and i asked her for her number... she shook her head and said she had a boyfriend while smiling. I honestly couldnt believe it. I was waiting for those digits to roll off her tongue.

Things i don't get
-She smiled and laughed constantly both times we spoke, and it was a proper smile too.

(We were standing by the staff room) Within like seconds she came out and she had clearly eaten something, but it seemed like she stuffed it in her mouth. You know how girls get funny eating around guys they like? I felt it was like that rather than her just eating super quickly.
-She said talking to me makes the time go really quickly, which it did as it was pretty good conversation.

And for about an hours talk over 2 days, i think they are fairly good signs. I know i should have asked if she had a boyfriend first, but i was just so sure she was single. I think i made it worse by retreating loads and saying 'I wish i didn't ask that now'. I still smiled and she waved at me when i left, i waved back.

I'm sure i'll still speak to her but yeah, really gutted. Especially as she was so hot, but i guess that's a sign she's unavailable, isn't it?

Sounds like your classic case of a flirt. A lot of people don't know how to not flirt and flirt back every chance they get. Some things to consider though: She may "have a boyfriend" ...or that could be a what they call in sales "objection". In other words, she likes you, but wants to know you better before giving in. Have you seen her boyfriend? Case in point. He may exist, or he may just be something she SAYS she has to keep guys at bay. Attractive people often KNOW they are attractive. It sounds better than "no" or "sorry I don't give it out to everyone who asks". If she does have a boyfriend maybe he's not "mr right" but "mr right now". A LOT of people are in those types of relationships. They're convenient for the time being for any number of reasons. Money, good sex, "he's SO SWEET!", a car, etc. I wouldn't give up just yet if you're that interested in her. Give it a little time for the infatuation phase you're currently in to pass and then see how you feel. Ask her how her "boyfriend" is doing. LOL. A line I occasionally used to "test the waters" with a girl I was interested in if I didn't know much about her relationship status was basically "so does your boyfriend know you're such a flirt?".
 
Not seen her boyfriend as i've only known her two days. It was sudden me asking for her number but like... when i said i was gonna go she said 'oh, alright then...' and there was just like a moment. I felt inclined. It's annoying as i'm usually much calmer but she just clouded my judgement and made me get excited.

I'll see how i feel. Im sure i'll still like her. She seems the kinda girl it's hard to not like.
 
One thing any guy who's looking for a "yes" has to be prepared for is a "no". It sucks, but it's also just part of the game.
One way to avoid getting crushed is ya just gotta remember that you can't get emotionally invested in an outcome which you can't control.
If you look at a potential gal as just that then if she says no...just move on to the next one.

That's true. I just feel if i said something like 'Well, i'm not looking for a girlfriend either' it would have been fine.

I just said like 'Oh, i wish i didn't ask that now... I'll still talk to you, i'm not just spending 45 minutes talking to you just because you're attractive. I thought you were single though as you asked me if Claire was my girlfriend. Nevermind'.

I just feel it was just the wrong thing to say which made everything awkward.

Very non-committal, leaves your options open and really conveys the feeling that when you two do get together (not if) it'll be because of a mutual attraction.
Also the connotation could be seen as you being quite confident enough that the random "no" not only doesn't, but can't, phase you at all.
Maybe you could keep something like that handy for future reference.

Yeah, Max you raise a good point. Usually i'm smoother but hey, i've not been chasing girls for about 3 years. Back then I was in my prime. I just need to practice again to get back to that level. I just wished there were some girls i didn't care about that i practiced on before hand so i could test the water, rather than jumping in at the deep end with both feet..
