There is a special documentary about the beginning of the universe and the beginning of the earth. Its called "Origins". Its a 2-part (2 hrs each) special on PBS thats on from 7-9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'd rather watch CNN looking for praise of republicans than watch PBS for their "scientific" (meaning only atheistic professor input) approach on the universe.

The universe can't be infinite as stated in the first 2 laws of thermodynamics. Nothing is infinite within the realm of science. It is all limited, and therefor all had a beginning point. Anything limited has a starting point and ending point (like the universe), and could only come from something that is unlimited without a beginning or an end. Possibly the alpha and the omega, who was and always will be.

I mean that paragraph right there is the simple logic anyone can understand that there has to be SOMETHING unlimited, all powerful, and always was/will be. Considering the make-up of the universe and everything in it, intelligent design is implied. Add that with the previous inferences, and you got God.

Out of all the gods, the one the Bible speaks of the is most believable IMO because the Bible has yet to be proven false, as a historical document or otherwise.

There is only One God, and he is spoken of in the Bible as Jehova, in the Quran as Allah, and in the Bhagavad Gita as Krishna. Many faces of One God, who has unlimited names. One text may appeal more to a particular person, but we are all worshipping the same Supreme Person.

The historicity of the Bible is proven, not sure about the other ones. Mormonism is a joke, one of the biggest, no offense.

There are many conflicting things in the different religious books. It is possible for them all to be false, but not possible for them all to be true. This I can say with certainty.

I never said you claimed not to believe in God. I never called you a godless infidel. I believe the general idea was that I was calling you a prick that is only on this board to stir up trouble.

And I agree with your statement about religion to a certain extent. As sephin pointed out, the different religions, while on some points very similar, contradict each other on some major points. They cannot all be right. Someone might quote the Eastern philosophy that you shouldn't think in the "either/or" mentality, but in the "both are possible" mentality. But as Ravi Zacharias put it, "are you telling me that either I have to accept both, or nothing at all?"

On the other hand, religion when taken too far, has in the past resulted in crusades, burnings at the stake, etc. But just because a few religious fanatics did some stupid stuff that shoulfn't have been done doesn't mean that every person that subscribes to a religion is that way. Any belief can be taken too far, whether it be religious, political, philosophical, or whatever. Like the proverbial existentialist that walked in front of a bus because he didn't believe it was really there.

The issue is someone that posts exclusively to stir up controversy and cannot seem to post without highly imflammatory rhetoric that is clearly meant to offend. There are times when someone is offended at some content, and then there are times when the purpose of the post is to offend. Casey/Remo/NeXus is clearly the latter. There are a number of people here I've had some disagreements with, but none that have displayed this type of conduct and they actually have a Penis Enlargement purpose here. And no, the majority of the people on this board are not religious as far as I know. There are several that are outspoken on either side, but most people don't express any affiliation with a particular religion.

It's not as if he wasn't warned repeatedly and the other mods that commented on his actions agree with it. He blatantly ignored what was said to him. Like others have said, many of us don't have any particular know-how or insight into Penis Enlargement that can be of much use, and at the same time anybody that knows how to use the search function can already have damn near any question imaginable on the topic answered in a few clicks. Aside from forum 'inside joke' style posts and brief little nods of agreement that aren't really much help to anyone, there isn't much left for a lot of people to contribute. I guess what I'm wondering is if the fellow would have been banned if he maintained the same posting habits, but perhaps held some beliefs that some people here don't find so disagreeable. Honestly, I don't see starting a post over something he wants to hash out as really creating any kind of trouble on the forum. My best friend, who I go to his house every single night, completely disagrees with me on religion. We get in really heated arguments about it all the time, but we're still great friends. We can still get along because his sole purpose is not to piss me off every time he opens his mouth. Casey/NeXus/Remo/mr. ziggs has one thing as his objective, and that is to piss people off who disagree with him. If he argued in a civilized, respectful way, nobody would have a problem with him, and I would LOVE to engage in a good debate with him. That's one of my favorite things to do, because I feel like it makes my faith even stronger to be able to back up what I believe. If he wanted to be here so bad and express his viewpoints, he could have simply modeled you, but he chose not to. You have argued with me and others and have kept civility to the argument despite total disagreement.

This guy was warned: Modify your behavior (not viewpoints) or get booted. He chose not to modify his behavior in any way, but I would say push the envelope further as some of his last NeXus posts were really over the top. He came here for the sole purpose of stirring up shit. It might be one thing if the thread escalates to insults or cheap shots, but it's another thing if the thread begins with them. It is his conduct that banned him, because he ignored the warnings. He may wish to think we were all too intimidated to debate him, but I assure you that if I've engaged you (Swank) then I'm not intimidated about debating him on matters of substance.

I know some people don't post too much on Penis Enlargement. I wish they would try to do so more often, as that is the purpose of us being here. It doesn't mean we don't discuss anything else, but DLD's vision is to be the largest Penis Enlargement forum on the web and we've now achieved that in terms of membership number. My understanding is that our search engine ranking is based largely on the number of posts. When new members find this site, they are typically looking for good Penis Enlargement information. I'm no Penis Enlargement expert myself, but I comment and ask questions all the time and I'd encouarge everyone to do the same. Quality posts on a variety of subjects are an asset to this site. We do believe in free speech here, but I can't think of any site like this that promotes free speech that will tolerate absolutely anything. For example, we're not going to tolerate someone that comes on here to unleash a series of racial slurs. Phrasing your terminology from the beginning with the sole purpose of angering a number of people is nearly the same thing.

If someone is motivated right from the start by offending our members by name calling, then he's not an asset to [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words], he's a detriment. It's not like this is a common problem. If you want to come here and discuss a variety of topics, taking any viewpoint you want, it's not hard to do. [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] is extremely tolerant of criticism, dissent, etc. and if you can't manage to post here without following our very lenient guidelines then the problem is with you, not us.

I see your point peguinsfan, that was a very reasonable explanation. I haven't got much time to hash out my feelings on this right now, but I suppose what rubs me the wrong way is that from Casey's posts I get the impression that it's a more a lack of tact rather than any intended malice from his end. Obviously there's some hostile and confrontational feelings there, but I think he started threads or posted because he really liked to argue or debate the issue, not to 'troll.' I'm not even exactly clear on what trolls are or what they do, but I didn't read his posts as soley intended to mess up the board. I guess it just depends on what you define as truly disruptrive and what is just agitating to some people. Being that Casey is somewhat on my side of the fence politically and I usually only care to post on non-Penis Enlargement issues myself, I suppose I just empathize. Anyway, I'm no moderator and an infrequent visitor most of the time so I haven't really got much say in running of the place, just my two cents.
