TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury

Hello all.
My name is Reza. I live in Sweden. I am orginally from Iran but moved to sweden in -86 when I was 7 years old due to the iran-iraq war. At the age of 5 I was hit by a car at high speed while crossing a street to greet my uncle. I flew about 30 feet and broke my shoulder and was unconscious for 5-10 minutes. I received what is called a Traumatic Brain Injury. But no one understood or knew. I grow up with it and have never been trated for this. Despite having a high to very high IQ, I have problems, much the same as ppl with Asperger syndrome. I also had a very abusive father, who also have TBI caused by him fighting in the war against iraq when he was buried during a artillery attack. When my kid sister has moves out of the house in about 1 year time, I am going to bash his head in. I have vowed to this.

Anyway, I have low self-esteem, low hormone levels, easily fatigued etc.
I am wondering if any body else have a TBI and would like to share his thoughts with me. thanks

Hey, there man sorry to here that you have a TBI. I can only imigine the problems you must have. Can you list some of the effects of TBI, and expalin what type of prescipition drugs you take, and what are the side effects.

BP

hey. I dont take any medicine at all. I cant even get a f***king diagnosis from the f***g health care here. But even if I did there is no medicine that can heal a broken brain.

some info
some more

The symptoms are many many, but for me its mostly lack of iniative, excessive shyness, chronic depression, fatigue, low hormone levels (due to injury to hypothalamus), personality change, memory problem, endurance problems, fine motor skills, missing things (dont see dont hear), small cock due to hormone levels, irritability, somewhat childishness, preservation et cetera...what I "got" from the accident was among other things a next-to-genius math abilities and another way of thinking...

On the other hand...bcos of this..I secluded myself most of my life...and read more books than is healthy...so I know alot of things...but it also makes me irritated at "common people" because I perceive them as somewhat un-educated and tasteless.

Hope it answers your questions.

I am so sorry to hear that your issues went so long without help. I am also sorry that your Father was abusive and I am guessing this is due to his own TBI. I can't help you with the TBI but I can guaranty you that we can help with the self esteem issues. What parts of your life do you feel there is a lack or needs improvement?

Just seen that this was an old thread. Not only that, but EvilPenis has been a member since the forum was created (Jun 2003).

I wonder how many members have been here that long. 11+ years. Can't even remember if [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] has a 10 year anniversary.
