Supplementing Testosterone

Iv'e been bodybuilding for about 2 years now and have taken my share of supplements, but have never tried testosterone, was kind of againt it actually, didnt like the idea of screwing with hormones. But ive done some research and have started to consider it. I plan on buying Xtest by xyience off ebay. Just looking for some opinions on testosterone supplementation and possibly the xtest if anyone has tried it.

If you're going to buy off Ebay, I would go for ergopharm 1-AD and, if you can find it, stack it with 4-AD. This is the most popular combination and you should literally gain 15- 20 lbs of muscle in a 4 week cycle of it. However, to my knowledge, most of those productions will expire by 4/07, as they are all left over from before the prohormone FDA ban. They will cost you, but IMO are worth it.

If you do not want to go that route, I would try ergopharms 6-OXO, as I have used this too and it is very good for strictly body building (ie, not for use in athletics because it will increase testosterone and possibly have adverse effects for such things as athlete eligibility and such.......)

You may gain 15-20lb of water bloat/bodyfat in 4 weeks it won't be muscle though, maybe a few pounds.

Wether you want to believe it or not the majority of all high level atheletes will be using some sort of peds.

If you are going to go down that route you may as well use the real thing, cheaper and you will see better results.IMO.

well then sure you will see better results taking that shit. i know a few people who did a cycle, sure they got results but they complained about joint problems and had a few joint related injuries. Im guessing you did your share of steroids? any feedback?

What sort of feedback are you after,AAS are more effective, cheaper than OTC supps, both have possible side effects.

Ive never had joint problems as such, winny can cause painful joints in some.

Injuries are normaly due to people upping there poundages dramatically because of the sudden strength increase.

I'm not suggesting you use AAS simply saying if your going to go down that route you would be better to use the real thing.IMO.

ok, well taking anabolic steroids is not an option for me. I may give testosterone a try, finish off my stash of supps then go natural. its costing me far too much money.

I may give testosterone a try? not sure what you mean by that,i wouldn't bother with any OTC supps apart from whey protien TBH. Spend your cash on good quality food instead.

Thats what my plan is. Thats why I said im going natural after I finish my remaining supplements, aside from a good mass gainer protein which is a necessity for me as I am 6'2 and only around 160 lbs.

and when I said i may give testosterone a try, I meant Supplementing with a testosterone enhancing product, such as xtest or ZMA.

If your only 160lbs at 6'2 then you need to re-evaluate your training and diet mate, you should easily be able to get up to 190-200lb at that height with a good sound diet and basic protien supp.

If you need any help with either just shout up.

Im always open to some help. I know my diet is lacking, I eat healthy just not enough. Plus I have a super fast metabolism which doesnt help much. I dont go to a gym, but I have dumbells and a weight set at home that I work on 5 days a week. I try for at least one muscle group each day. If you got any advice it would be appreciated man.

You will struggle to build a good routine if you only have a basic weight set,do you have any equipment bench ect.

No need to train 5 days a week if your natural 3 would be better sticking to the big basic compound movements, basic principle of BB,powerlifting, weightlifting is getting stronger on the big compound movements,as you get stronger you grow.

With basic equipment an example routine would look something like this

Monday.
legs

Squats
stiff legged deadlift
calf raise

wed.
chest/shoulders/tris

Some sort of bench press,dumbell,barbell
weighted dips
military press
skull crushers

fri.
back/biceps

Chins
bentover barbell row
deadlift
barbell curl

Diet really is the key to making gains, get your diet on track for only a couple of months and you will notice a big improvement.

Here is a good thread that might be of help.

http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/m_915134/mpage_1/key_budget/tm.htm

This is a homemade mrp i use, much cheaper and just as effective as expensive mrps/weightgainers.

4 tblsp skimmed milk powder
2 scoops - 40g whey powder
1 tblsp flaxseed/rapeseed/olive oil
1 banana - or cup of mixed berries
½ pint skimmed milk

Going of what you have said i would really forget about spending any cash on testosterone enhancing products,if your diet and training arn't up to scratch then you won't see any gains apart from maybe some water bloat.

Good stuff man thanks for your help and time. i will give that drink a try. is the flaxseed/olive oil for some extra EFA's?

I know my diet is my biggest problem and i just gotta force myself to eat every 2-3 hours. I am also going to invest money into a bench set and an incline bench when i save up enough cash.
