Im willing to stick it out to try to get this to work, ill let you know if I need to exchange it, I appreciate the customer support though. Can you tell me which ways the valves are supposed to be on the adapter and bulb, can you take pics for me.
There's only one way it can go really - black adaptor goes first onto grey bulb (side of grey bulb where there are internal ridges in the connection) then other side of the black adaptor goes onto the size doctor for pumping. In mine, it won't pump unless you first release the black pin a bit from the head (black pin with orange o-ring) so that it wobbles about a bit. You can then pump air....
Just reading on ? about the older Size Doctors - seems it's been the same issue before with air releasing once you remove the bulb and adaptor. From what I can see, people have said that they got it to work by waiting a few seconds, tilting the Size Doctor up and wiggling it around to get the pin to drop back first. Then release the bulb..... So seems there's a knack to it and it's not as simple as the vid suggests. Will experiment again tomorrow.
Thanks Lightning. That's what I was starting to do but then even the suction force from the bulb pops the pin out again. I'll experiment later today again.
