Pubic hair removal?

Well kids it'll be another few months of no food. Your mother didn't shave for 2 days and the stubble really roughed my face up last night. I'll be eating very well for a while but it won't be food.....

This thread inspired me to try a different method than shaving for my irksome pubic hairs. I decided to tweeze them (partially because it's what I had on hand and partially because I had some down time). Well long story short, the tweezed area looks amazing and is still smooth on the better part of a week. The biggest problem is that it took forever to do! It took so long for me to pluck each of those tiny hairs and focusing on them became an issue the longer I went. I didn't cover the whole area I wanted because time caught up with me and ended up shaving the rest. I will say that if you had a lot of time and don't mind doing a repetitive task with minute details or there is a small area you want hairless, go for tweezing.

I'm planning on experimenting with various hair removal techniques to see if I can find one that I like better than shaving. I'll occasionally make a brief post of my findings if you guys don't mind.

They make and sell a small at home hand held laser that works pretty well for small areas. It wouldn't be ideal for someone wanting to laser their entire legs or back, arms, etc, but it would work well on small surface areas like the groin area. You can probably find one on amazon for a couple hundred bucks. I can tell you guys the name of the best system, with permission from the mods of course.

Laser systems are outside of my price range but they do seem like an awesome way to get into laser hair removal. What kind of laser would work for darker skinned people since these are not recommended?

As was mentioned earlier the sessions at a doctor's office to do hair removal could be almost of not as much as one of those every 12-18 months. How many times can one of those be used though? As in, if it were properly cared for should you be able to get a few years usage out of it?

I have to ask cause it's on TV - what about NoNo? Is it just a cheap pile of crap that someone with a great advertising budget owns? Or does that one actually work?

I'm curious about the NoNo as well. I used to see the infomercial all the time but it seemed a little gimmicky. I'd love to read about anyone's experience using one.

As far as the laser hair removal goes, it sounds like it's cheaper to do it on your own vs going to a professional but there's always tradeoffs when it comes to diy.

I grow a pretty nice goatee but I can't get a full beard no matter how long I let it go for. The rest of me is blonde or light brown hair.

I was getting a tattoo on my one leg and the guy was going through hell shaving my lower calf. He said he didn't think shaving my leg was going to be too bad until he got started. He claimed to have never seen leg hair so fine and hard to shave before.

I call my lack of body hair evolution. We don't need it for warmth anymore so we're becoming less and less hairy lol.

I just trim all of my body, except the arm pits. I shave my sack and penis and trim around that. Honestly it feels very clean this way.

I think that eventually the hair comes back less and less with tweezing. Waxing I have never tried but I think it is similar to tweezing as far as hair coming back less and less with each treatment.

Do a (Google) search about sugar waxing, it is quite inexpensive and doable at home. More natural as well, compared to certain store brands.
If you want to ease the pain, you could try ice-pack on the area you're going to wax. Just a thought, as we all have different tolerance when it comes to pain.

Yea, I'm honestly just interested in trying out the different "cheaper" methods of hair removal. Not against shaving, although it comes back a lot faster than I would like, just want to try out something different and maybe find something I like better. As far as shaving goes, with my sack, if its shriveled up I will get nicks and a poor shave. Guess I just get too wrinkly to get anything smooth lol. Shaving works better when I'm warm and relaxed.

Not sure if this is the right forum, so please move or delete if it isn't.

What do you guys use to remove pubic hair? I was always a big advocate of Balls Balm, used it all the time and it got me perfectly smooth down there with no burning or side effects, and it lasted about a week. But now they seem to have dropped off the earth, so I'm looking for another pubic hair removal cream or a different method. Shaving has never worked well for me, always wind up with ingrown hairs or cutting my balls.

What do you folks use?

I don't really use any hair remover, I just get a shaving stick and reduce the hair around the penis. I don't shave it all off completely, I just reduce it drastically.

My shit grows so long I end up hidden in the bush I try to keep it trimmed but since no one really sees my penis I can grow a pretty long beard
