Please advice - routine and progress

So after a short period of doing SRT 5x5x3, the good news is that it looks like my baseline girth has increased by at least around 2 mm, and sometimes it seems like even a bit more.

The 2mm and possibly more is the tissue yielding with higher potential gains for future cementing. That means you broke out of the hard plateau and entering the expansion and extending states.

The less good news is that I’m starting to worry that I may have developed some pelvic floor tightness or something along those lines.

Mind describing the symptoms a bit more? For example, when you urinate, there's a burning sensation when you try to stop the urination mid stream. Or, when you deficate, when you push hard, the soft/hard turd that comes out when you strain to vacate it causes a tingling/painful sensation near the anus. As much info as possible.

For now, let's stop with the pelvic floor exercises, which is the kegel. You can perform reverse kegels, but not the regular short and long kegels.

Now I sometimes feel a dull ache/discomfort deeper toward the internal/base area of the penis when doing SSJs with the ring. I also feel like my EQ may have dropped somewhat, or at least that getting to a completely full erection isn’t quite as effortless as it was before.

What’s frustrating is that I had a really good rhythm going. I was comfortably doing SRT three days in a row and everything felt great. Now it feels harder, like I need considerably more recovery, and even after taking a day off the area can still feel somewhat sensitive.

What would you do at this point?

This description is not the pelvic floor, but the base tissues surrounding the sphincter muscles at the bulbourethral gland, which is the bulbospongiosus muscles. Massaging it using your middle and index fingers around that area in a deep circular motion will help to relax and relase the tension more rapidly. Clinics tend to suggest a hot-cold compresses alternating every 10 minutes in a 3 sets to help alleviating the stress loads on the muscles.
