I started using The Grip which is a vacume based hanger. After gaining 3/8" in the flaccid (began at 3.25") in the first 7 weeks starting at 2 lbs. and going up to 8 lbs. I stopped making gains in the flaccid but for the next 5 weeks made almost 3/8" in the erect state (began at 6 7/8") going up to 10 lbs.
I now wanted to increase to 12 lbs. but The Grip would not hold it. I was told to try The BIB. I bought the BIB and after some initial problems with skin pulling I was able to get it to work with 8 lbs. I was also told that I needed to only do 20 minutes for 3 sets. But after the first set of 20 minutes my head turned pruple. I was concerned and was told that I needed to start at 5 lbs. and work my way up because my soft tissues other than my ligaments were not used to this type of hanging and if I wanted to hang heavier weights I needed to wait until they were conditioned.
Well, needless to say, I now must either go back down to 5 lbs. and forgo possible gains for severeal weeks for the possiblity of doing more than 10 lbs. in the future or go back to the The Grip but never go higher than 10 lbs. and possibly forgo gains.
Any advice?
