Finally had a nice click inside my usually empty head last night. I switched my area of grip and feel while doing some manual work. It took half of my normal force to feel a good stretch and hit my max FSL length. I moved about 1/4 inch further toward my base and found this nice spot.

I can tell you what works for me, but it might not work for you. My best grip might be palms down, while yours is palms up, see what I'm saying. Find YOUR sweet spot that feels right for you and you cant go wrong. And it looks like you found your sweet spot, nice work man!
True be that of everyone has a different grip technique. I just had to run my head into a brick wall a few times before i got my vision straight again.
