I work in a hospital and chat to many nurses thru out the day.

Most of the time im doing labour/delivery type jobs so my exchanges with the ladies is very civil and polite.

However, on a couple of occassions I have overheard some saucy chatting going on amongst them and ive dropped some dirty innuendo.

I've worked with many nurses mate, its my field actually in the medical world and sure you get some horny ones but I wouldn't for one minute think they were any more slutty than other professions. Your IP is from Australia, so perhaps its more a thing in Australia as I know many Brits work around the hospitals. Some Nurses are really dirty and very open minded but same can be said for a women working in a bar! I suppose nurses and care assistants have seen more naked bodies and so it doesn't seem to shock them talking about such topics. As someone who has worked ALLOT with women I know they have this dirty side but not overly so .. depends much on the person than the profession but I have had several cracking encounters should we say with junior doctors. You'll find the night shift best mate, a tip from red! Reason being is obvious, with lack of management about and patients in bed (depending on what dept your on hey if its suicide unit you wont sleep with all due respect to them) and the staff sit around chatting about shit. You can get to know them more and if they are SINGLE, notice I capitalise that! don't go for married women mate or expect one day the husband to place your balls in a vice, I would along with cutting out your insides and hanging them out on the washing line hahaha but yeah mate you need that more laid back shift and get to know them. Medical staff are more open minded and laid back due to the nature of work they deal with.
 
And something about working late at night, graveyard shift, tends to bring out the "naughty" in a lotta gals. I don't think it's the profession, but the stress, or hard work involved in their days work. For nurses it can be frustrating. Sometimes, they just need a release, which can come in the way of a sex. It's the same in any job.

Small talk, seem like you aren't interested. Don't end up in the friend category. Ask for number. You don't want to talk too much before you get to chill alone or you won't get anywhere. Your spot on Still'. Here in the UK though allot of Nurses nowadays are going into the profession older than they used to be, say 30's or 40's as the NHS likes more life experience but we still have young babes and I can assure you some of them are hot fucking kinky little sluts out the uniform! Yes allot do smoke .. I have found this to be COMMON in the health field and mainly with women, more so than the men.

I think if it's your dream go for it. Other professions have more attractive women. Where I'm from, the average nurse is 5' 8'', 300+lbs and a chronic smoker.
 
It seems nurses are the same everywhere in North America--I'm a nurse, male though, and nurses in the hospital where I work are about the way you guys have described above. Some are nice, but for the vast majority, they're fat, unpleasant and bossy. I find some nurses to be more snotty than MDs at times.
 
Go become a nurse in South Beach...you will be surrounded by the exceptions to the fat nurse rule:) Women are different in southern Florida...even their manikins are fine!
