Hurt from jelqing. Please help!

Before I start please know that I did use the search but I couldn't find what I'm looking for. If this has been addressed in a different thread please link me to it.

I'm not a veteran at girth exercises but I'm not exactly a newbie. I have jelqed on and off since the summer. I've been frustrated with my gains so I did a 40 minute session on Thursday using Uli's, Horse and Isolated compressions. I have done all of these before but this time I did with more intensity. The problem is for the past 48 hours I've been pretty sore and getting soft erections only. My member is also looking pretty small in the flaccid state. There is no pain on it's own, but when I touch it there is definitely a lot of work-out soreness. In the past these things only lasted a day but 2 1/2 days later it still hasn't gone away.

Is this just normal response to a rigorous routine or should I be concerned?

It sounds like you really over worked yourself. You did too much too soon. If not conditioned enough those those execises if misused will really break you down. You need to treat it with ice and heat alternating twenty minutes each for a couple of days then once the soreness subsides go to just heat. You will probably need to take off a week from start of treatment.(depending on how severe you overworked yourself it might be longer) When you do start back PLEASE start slow and build up gradual...It sounds like instead of jumping to the "defcon 5" exercises just try to increase you intensity on [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-newbie-forum/1597-dlds-first-routine-i-gained-2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html]newbie routine[/words] first.

Yeah, man. Easy does it is the rule. I"ve had one injury in over two years, and that was because I tried to push it when I was feeling real pain. Not good.
 
Thanks for the help guys. I was really starting to worry. The soreness is beginning to subside but it's still looking kinda shrunk! I'm putting heat on it right now. Guess I'll take a week off and see how it goes from there.
 
remember the penis is a muscle

when you go to the gym and work out hardcore for 3 hours straight more than normal

dont you get sore arms? ;)
