Huge Forum Updates!!!

I liked the new look...but in many ways like this one better.
The thing I didnt like about the new was the background pattern...it made me REAL DIZZY :blahblah: and also no new post button....and the icon next to each section that lights up say when a new post is in - was hard to distinguish from the new and none new signs.

Apart from that it was great.
I have noticed that now the site is running very fast...is that just me?

I agree...This was one of the bugs we need to work out.

Please post any problems you have with the new layout of the board here. We will correct these problems as they happen throughout the day. Thanks for your continued support.

I think the last time the forum had a makeover was when Sim was still here. Are we due for any of such makeover soon? @oldandlively

When SIM was here, he did a reorganization of posts, but still used the original platform. He spent so much time on gathering the links, articles, and various things together, even the system lost the amount of hours he put forth in making the forum more streamline. We're still doing our best to preserve what he did, but the collective single database from the various databases is a massive mess. I even recruited the few high tier programmers to look at the databases, and they were horrified at the hotchpotch of data for the past 20+ years. It's no one fault. It's just the movement of time and newer releases, and a loss of backup data. After Lightning passed away, it was a scramble to search for those backup files. Let's say we still lose over 70% of the original content, especially the videos, with over half 1.8 million valuable posts related to exercises. Just exercises, data, and results. That's a massive loss.

I wish we could go back and do things differently, but it's far too late for that. We must now work for the future. And try to replace as much as possible.
