How important is having a routine?

Oh hello. I've been suspicious about Penis Enlargement for quite a while now. I tried out jelqing a few years back but eventually had difficulties getting hard for pleasure so without support or a proper community, I stopped. A couple months ago I found this site and browsed and read almost all of the recent forums. Thus, with renewed encouragement I got back in to it.
However, I've been doing a little bit of everything with no set routine. And so I turn to this loving community for advice and suggestions.

Side question: When Jelqing, should one be pulling the skin along or holding it down?

A routine is important on many levels, most importantly, it sets a baseline for where you are right now and where you wanna be. Once you have a general understanding of your limits and how the exercises work you will want to follow a set routine that can be charted. You will want to keep track of gains and plateaus so you know when to change it or to continue with it. If you are doing exercises that are all over the place you may not be able to precisely tell why or how you are gaining. Following a progressive routine will also help you reap the newbie benefits of quick gains and only change to a new routine when the current one stops working.

Staying routine also has a lot to do with staying involved with the community, having your progress routine in a thread in the Routines section will help us keep you motivated and also help with any problems. Huh. I never thought of it that way. I'll create a routine tonight and mayhaps post it some time soon! Thank you for your insight.
