I think the biggest difference is the longevity of the actual stretch. When we hang we use heavier
weight for shorter periods but when we extend we use lighter
weight for longer periods. Both have their advantages. Personally if you’re going to hang I would also extend so you make gains from both areas. Because the penis grows in different ways between the two. I hope that was the answer you were looking for but if I misunderstood the question please let me know
Thanks you both, DLD and Red. Appreciate your replies. I think I might not have been clear enough in my post so I'll try to do better here, addressing both of you and your comments. First of all, I am fully aware of the concept of using heavier
weights and then using some kind of ADS to keep extended and heal in that state. I've been doing this stuff for 40 years, so I've learned a thing or two. But there are some discrepancies that I am trying to resolve. First off, let's start with the
Phallosan itself. I remember when I bought mine, the instructions were to keep the gauge in the green part, or perhaps yellow. They did not recommend going into the Red, pointing out that it was the long duration of use that produced the gains, not the amount of
weight. They also did not recommend using any other form of enlargement during the months of
phallosan use. They also claim that at max stretch, the
phallosan produces a max of 6 lbs stretch. This is simply not true. If you don't believe me, try
hanging a
weight from the
phallosan. 2 or 3 pounds and the gauge is maxed out into the red zone. Having said that, I have a couple of issues that I can hopefully clarify.
1) The whole idea of the Phallogenetics ( or in my case the PhalloX4) is to provide a much stronger stretch. This, as I pointed out, is, or at least was, discouraged by the company. But now, they've come out with the plus+ which, according to their site, produces a max stretch equalling 4.8KG (about 10.5 lbs). Seems to me that they now feel stronger stretching is perhaps more effective?
2) If the PhalloGenetics can be used for long periods or, in the case of the Plus + (at 10 lbs), then why couldn't you rig up the
Phallosan to hang 10 lbs for long periods? What's the difference? The amount of "pull" is the same either way. I've rigged mine up to hang 10 lbs for a full hour with no problems. I understand Red's point that you should only hang heavy
weights for short (20 minute) sets, but that is using a clamp-type
hanger. The reason being circulation problems. This, supposedly, is not an issue with the
Phallosan or Phallogenetics or Plus + or whatever. Since circulation is safely maintained, why could you not use the
Phallosan as a
hanger with, say, 10 lbs for long periods? Or, just to be on the safe side, why not 2 or 3 sets of an hour each? THEN, follow up with the
Phallosan at lower pressure during the day and maybe even less if you choose to sleep with it on? I hope I'm clear on this. On a side note, back in the day, I've hung upwards of 20+ pounds, but I feel doing so is risky and can result in injury. So, my New Year's plan is to use the
Phallosan as a
hanger with maybe 10 lbs (which is the max of the Plus + anyway) for 1-3 hours in the morning, then wear the
phallosan during the day in the yellow or even red zone to keep elongated after the heavier
weights. Then, at night, drop to the green zone and hit the hay. Do I want to hang the heavier
weights every day? Not sure. Maybe every 2nd day. Perhaps you guys have some feedback in this regard. Ok, I think I've covered pretty much everything, except to say I am avoiding all girth work during this experiment, which I hope to adhere to for 6-8 months. There are only so many hours in a day and besides, last year after a couple months of heavy girth work, I got major discoloration on my penis and despite no girth work in over a year, it has not disappeared. I suspect it's permanent.
I welcome your comments and suggestions, and want to wish you both a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Cheers
