The max vac IS more comfortable....but it does not have the track record of the BIB...as far as gains go. Also, there are several men reporting constant blistering on the glans from the max vac. I also had the blistering problem. I did not think it was worth my time, and effort to figure out how to get around the blister issue, plus I just did not feel the same pull from the max vac. If I got a blister, I would have to take a week off from hanging to let it heal, then start over again....get another blister, repeat. It was like taking 2 steps forward, and 5 steps back. The BIB hangers grab the internal structures, while the max vac pulls mostly on the glans. Both hangers have their pros and cons, but I still think the BIB starter is the best bet. Fewer parts (just the hanger) too.

The max-vac is a wonderful product...the only problem is the owner has been in and out for the past couple of months so if you ordered one it might be a while before you get it. I ordered the max-vac II in december and the date they were supposed to ship has been constantly pushed back. Last time I checked they were supposed to ship out mid-May but here it is almost July and nothing. I would recommend a vacuum hanger b/c they seem to be safer than a noose style hanger like the bib.

You can try to contact BTC (the owner of mynewsize) and ask when will the max-vac II's will be available...it might quick. Or you can shop around. I've heard good things about the vacu-hanger from autoextender.com.

Like I said the max-vac is a good quality product and I've never had a blister and the max-vac II is supposed to be even better but BTC has been a little shaddy lately in my opinion.

I haven't had any functional issues with TheGRIP. After you get to the heavier weights (10+) you'll need to wrap with electrical tape. It always held fine. It is a superior device for lower weights though in my opinion. It seems that monkeybar's vacuhanger is just a shitty rip off of TheGRIP, it even costs more! The MaxVac uses a slightly different approach to vacuum hanging so I can't comment on the glans-expansion method. I'll say this though: I haven't had any blistering problems with vacuum hangers at high weights as long as I wrapped the glans with some self-adhesive sports wrap.

Honestly I still can't picture on how the BIB would just pull so much better. I mean in terms of efficiency/safety I don't see how vacuum hangers (a good one) can be beat. I don't want to throw down $100 just to test it out either.

The production Bibs allow for a much more comfortable hang and more successfully fatigue the tissues of the penis than do the various homemade varieties.

I don't like making my own hangers....the wench was a disaster. I've heard the good and the bad from the bib's and the vacu's and I would still go with the vacu's. I haven't tried the bib but like 10inch says I can't see how it would pull any different and there are ways to prevent fluid buildup with the vacuum hangers and I think there a better fit for me personally.

I have no credibility here as i have used neither but i would guess

doing a straight down stretch would be comparison to the mv

while

doing a straight down stretch + forcing a karate chop or some sort of item on 1 inch from the base to make more force would be like the bib

since from pictures its attached to the whole dick unlike noose devices or cylinders

I have no idea as to why, for so many, they cannot imagine the Bib exerting more force than any vacuum device is capable of, by design. The Bib is physically attached to the penis, it isn't 'sucking' your dick, as it were. The Bib actually grips internal structures in the penis - use it and you will understand what I'm talking about - and physically exerts force DIRECTLY upon them. Think about it.

The actual grip is very similar, in terms of a bottle-neck created by a crushing nature of a bib, and a expanding method of the MV. They both grip the internal structures. The MV primarily uses side wall compression, but will not crush the penis where it is attached, the vacuum is secondary. I have actually used both hangers. Unless the bib actually penetrated the penis where it attaches (literally), it would possibly exert more force? Are you serious? The bib attachment is not static, it slides until the structures in front of it stop it.
