Fat pad!

I haven't...but I've also seen treatments that use extreme cold and freeze the fat away

that freezing thing is a huge load of crap man. just a new way of pulling money out of people's pockets

I have not heard of any specific product that helps with the fat pad. You would think there would be one with all of the products out there today

Liposuction would be in the $3000 neighborhood so if there are cheaper methods that work we need to promote them or even affiliate with them.

I believe there is some sort of cream that some bodybuilders use to bring out muscle separation and details ( I assume by burning fat on them?) that would need to be experimented with down there if anyone knows what they use

Find out the name and I will research.

The best way to reduce any body fat is through a clean diet where your body is in a calorie deficit combined with some type of cardio. One a person eats below their BMR ( base metabolic rate ) for a period of time , that person looses weight. When we can do this and perform cardio our body burns fat . The fat that is burnt comes from all over our bodies. Over time our body fat percentage lowers and we become lean, showing off any muscle a person may have.
people who have very little fat pad also have very little fat anywhere else . I would put their body fat percentage below 12% and depending on muscle development , they would have visible abbs. If a person was in the single figure of body fat , they would have very little fat pad and they would be ripped!
Fat burners can definitely help people and have there place . They will work best when everything else is spot on when it comes to diet and training.

I am back on the diet wagon so this is helpful. I gained much weight back over this sickness. Thanks Beard!

well i do intermittent fasting for 16-18 hours pretty much daily

my eating window is usually between 2-9pm. i can eat anything and as many times during that window but realistically i only eat what i feel i need, so usually it's either 2 meals or a snack and a good meal. and it's solid quality for the most part. my main rule of thumb is to avoid cooked oils, fried foods, sugar junk stuff/highly processed foods. the only somewhat processed food i have though is bread, although i think in low-moderate amounts bread is healthy despite the gluten studies. i think it just has to be good quality, ideally sprouted wheat bread or sun-bread

on top of that i also do cardio, abs, strength, and yoga training 5-7 days a week so my abs are developing gradually as i usually invite new exercises and progressions every now and then

and BSA, i still eat vanilla and choc ice cream whole fat and 13g of sugar per serving at least a few times a week. i just love it and i get crazy libido from ice cream lol

it;s like a viagra

To be honest ,alot of people will follow the rule of making meals for their macro's regardless of what it is they are eating. You can eat a diet full of crap but still loose weight if your daily calorie intake is less than your base metabolic rate. This approach however is not necessarily a good way to do it. A person can eat some ice-cream on occasion, but if a person wants to loose weight and get lean then macro's must be counted.

My fat pad really is the only place I want to lose fat. I'm pretty thin most everywhere else yet it looks like I've gotten up to 3/4" fat pad.

"Yes I'd like to schedule my 'Cool Sculpting' appointment. The only area I'm worried about is the pelvis. I need to lower my fat pad to make my penis look bigger. When can I.... hello? Anyone there?! Great, they hung up."

As men , especially as we age , we find it harder to loose fat but also build muscle. This is due to hormonal changes. Some guys suffer more , sone less. For the majority of guys, the first place we begin to see signs of excess body fat is around our midsection. South of our midsection is our pelvis. Men and women can suffer from a condition known as "skinny fat" meaning we look thin up top and our legs but yet not around our waste. As I stated earlier , the only way to rectify this is to change the way we eat and find a diet that works for us. If your goal is to loose any body fat, regardless of where it is, then something needs to change. A person can begin to do some sort of steady set cardio or put themselves in a calorie deficit , or both. In my opinion, we should be hitting the weights at least twice a week with some cardio and a clean diet.

That's pretty much exactly where I'm at - should be eating better and exercising but I'm not :o

I should of clarified that if we want to make changes to our body fat percentage then we should be training at least twice a week with some cardio and clean eating. Some people aren't interested in lifting weights or training in general. Being an ex boxer and judo player, fitness is a part of my way of life. I've fallen off the wagon a few times regarding my diet but I always keep active.

I guess there are no short-cuts to getting lean(er)...too bad cuz I like ice cream

I am so fucked up with this weight bullshit! I have gained all the weight back that took me a year to lose! I feel like saying fuck it! But I am not a quitter! I just wish I knew how I gained all of it back! I have not really changed my diet, IDK, I am lost! I could not even button my pants this morning...UGH!

I've always had a decent metabolism but I'm not the greatest at staying active. It has helped me lose excess weight pretty easily. I'm 5'6" and twice in my life I've hit 185lbs. The first I was going to the gym 5x a week and eating to gain muscle. Ended up losing weight and eventually dropping back to 165lbs. The second time I was being lazy and eating anything and everything. I cut down on the crap food and began losing weight. Took 6 months and I lost 30lbs... about 10 more than I wanted. I was pretty well ripped though and approaching single digit body fat numbers when I got down to 150lbs.

6 months ago I discovered I was back up to about 180lbs again. This time I cut down on how much pizza I was eating. My appetite is decreasing a little too. Some nights I don't feel like eating that bowl of ice cream.

Today I had to put my belt 1 notch tighter, the notch that tells me I'm probably 160-165lbs again. Felt good. When you factor in my height the BMI charts say I'm approaching "overweight" but I have a decent bit of muscle to carry around. I'm not huge but I'm not small either.

No "stress eating" or loss of activity?

Any meds that cause weight gain?

You should make a very honest food list and count up all the calories in that list. You should do this for a full week , making sure you note down everything! Start reading food packaging and making a note of what each item contains. Total calories, carbs, fat, protein, fibre, sugar, sodium. Get yourself an app for tracking like my fitness Pal app which tells you exactly what is in the foods you are eating. This app also helps you to set a calorie intake for the day if you wish to loose weight. This app is very good as it makes tracking your good intake very easily. You can simply scan bar codes with your phone and all the information is given.

Wow, thanks BB! I never dreamed there was an app for this but I am not so app savvy :) This is a great idea and I will start today. I will start a progress thread also showing myself, again, where I am and when I get to where I want to be I will have that picture. I am not discouraged, just motivated to lose it again.

Even if you dont keep track of what you eat its possible to lose weight and in turn cut away the fat pad, this last year i made several lifestyle changes that have changed things for me immensely at the beginning of last year i weighed 275 lbs i'm now to 215 and now working to my goal of 180.
Everybody is different so there's no saying this will work for everyone but what i did was;
Reduce portions, cut back on snacks (candy, soda, chips etc..) and kept it my head that I don't have to be limited by a Diet that will only help temporarily or even to cut things out of my life completely but to say hey i want to eat this whole cake.. well then that means i need to run a couple miles tonight to make it worth it.

I've cut back a little on how much I eat in the past few months. Getting on a scale made me realize I needed to lose a little bit of weight. I'm glad it's still that easy for me because some day it might be a struggle.
