DLD, you need to lift bro. Sounds like for the most part you have your diet in check, but after awhile of that you will plateau. Your metabolism comes from the amount of lean muscle in your body. About 4-5 years ago I was 230 lbs, nearly 36% body fat. Just the most horrible I've ever been. I did straight cardio for 3 months and I lost 55 lbs, but I was struggling to keep it off (I was skinny fat). This is when I decided to say screw it and build muscle mass. Today I'm nearly 200 lbs, but I look much leaner. I look fantastic naked! But most importantly, I can eat more without having those huge fluctuations in
weight cause my metabolism is much higher.
