It always annoys me, for some reason, that dudes try to keep up with the adult entertainment star's made up dick size numbers by faking their own. You should if you plan to lose that fat pad. It gives an accurate reflection on bpel and if you're skinny like me, then you won't have much fat to lose but you should still make sure it is depressed against the pubic bone. This allows for a more accurate measurement as the ruler is up against bone and not absorbent tissue that may 'give' and change your measurement depending on how hard or soft you press the ruler when you measure.
