Hey guys I was thinking that we could talk about God, and some amazing experineces with him. Share great bible verses and talk about his Wonderfull works in our lives. Another awesome verse that many forget is in Genesis 22, true faith and true love of our Father in Heaven. In all situations He will prvide the way, read what Abraham says to Isaac, and feel the impact of his words to his only son.

Good idea, Supra. Just beware, because pretty soon people will be bashing us in the thread. I think the best way to do it would be to ignore their posts because if we don't then they end up hijacking the thread and it always turns into a "I'm right" "No I'm right" type of thing.

I think a must for any Christian is the book Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. Great stuff. Actually any of his work is amazing. Check him out, he isn't just the Chronicles of Narnia guy. He was an amazing thinker and Christian apologist.

I have to agree on all accounts. We don't want the yayin back and forth between members of the forum. I think a great book to read is by Lee Strobel, it's called the Case for Christ, and also has one called the Case for faith. CS Lewis was an atheist for a long time. He and JRR Tolkien were really great friends, and professor tolkien was an apologist as well.

I think Jim Caveziel is Jewish. I'm not positive about that, but pretty sure.

I think by "the same" he meant that Jesus was Jewish, just like Mary.

I don't think his appearance was historically inaccurate because there isn't really much anywhere about what he looked like other than that he was probably kind of ugly, and that he was Jewish.

Religion:

There’s an easy side and a very hard side on it.
The easy part is the praying, going to church and reading the bible. The really hard part is the understanding of what is written down 2000 years ago and the real meaning of it all. How do we have to interpreter the old books, how can we live our life in 2004 without getting into a conflict with it? Finding this balance will take us a life time, but in the way to it we have to do our best to meet the most important rules. Respect for each others life, religion and ideas and also showing you care for your fellow-man.

First of all i wanna say to supra That this is jux what we need bro!!!!!!
I didnt even know u where a christian???R you???

But anyways i will start off with my testimony....

I've had a pretty rough time growing up,,,I started to fight do drugs,have sex,and other gang affiliated things when i was in 6th grade--11-12 years old!!!!I was very confused growing up,,,my father was in and out of my life--which caused alot of pain and confusement--i literally became crazy and ill in my head!!!!!!

because of my decisions i let in alot of evil demonds into my life and they literally ran and owned my life(evil)Deep down inside i always wanted to do good but i ended up doing the opposite-Bad-I would always fall into the hands of the devil_Which i hated so much but it always happend!!!The devil is saying he owns u and u should do what he says once u sin but its up to u to not listen to that evil voice and listen to the good voice which is our father in heaven_----

But when i was growing up i would alwys get kicked out of school,suspended,and always get into trouble..I would fight and even go to school high with drugs in my possession takin g big risks of even going to jail if i would of gotten caught....I was a major major pot head through out middle school and high school....I was moving from house to house because i was confused ,i would always runaway....My father was in and out of my life therefore i was never taught how to be a man--i had to learn on my own--which was VERY HARD VERY---When i was 14, i was arrested for burglary and went to jail for a day and was put on probation for a year!!!!!Became even more confused and even scared for my life---I was in an asian gang called Asain Assassins--This is statewide even nationwide gang....We had gun fights and alot of underground gambeling rings....during these couple of years i was arrested 5 more times and taken to jail...the least time i did was 2 weeks and the most was 1 year..for an all-in-all amount of 2in a half years of incareceration!!!!very hard for a growing boy to deal with!!!!!!I always knew about the lord GOD but i kep[t on slipping and slipping and falling into evil......................................I ended up dropping out of high school because it was just to hard for me--the temptations,always skipping,go to school high everyday,and selling drugs------i got my GED then i went to college but soon dropped out because i wasnt focused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This day i heard a very touching testimony from this ex-gang member from minn....And it just touched my heart because everything he went through i went through to....It was like hearing myself through this guy....I even cried---Real men cry---Crying can and will release evil spirits and even pain.....But i was prayed for and we casted out evil spirits from my body..........................and i feel great and so much blessed from the lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ask that my fellowPe'ers pray for me that i dont fall back into my old lifestyle and that i fullfill watever god has planned for me which i believe is very amazing because God has spared my life so many times--So many times i should of died but didnt because God has something very very great planned for my life................................

i pray for my fellow Pe'ers and open your heart to this testimony my brothers,Open your heart and let it touch u and even work in you----------

God can do amazing miracles--just amazing

Im want to reach as many souls as i can---Because theres alot of people out there that is so oblivious of Jesus Christ the son Of God--And i Totally believe and know that God is coming --SOON--COuld Be tomorrow for all we know--But think about it doesnt the days go by so fast nowadays--its just a sign that God is coming back to judge us and put us infront of the thrown....

I just want to reach out to my fellow brothers and hopefully they will open there hearts out to me and my testimony and just see that God does work and dwell in us all --No matter who u are.....Look at Jeffrey Dhamers--He killed and ate so many people but when he was in prison he got saved and became a christian--God forgave him of all the evil he did--even basically the most horrible sin that a man can do which is kill and eat people.....But the catch is u have to give yourselves FULLY to the lord above--I mean FULLY ,,Everything--surrender yourself to him--dont hold anything from him--and u have to be willing to let go of the earthly pleasures--sex before marriage,,lusting,,adultery,stealing etc etc...............Love him,,trust him,be one with him--because he is the father of all fathers --above the earthly laws--he makes the laws--he sets the standards!!!!!!!U just have to know no matter what God is there watching u no matter where u are--he knows everything---and trust that whenever u talk or pray to him that he is listening even if u dont hear anything bac he is listening...he is there.....The sayin nowadays is "to see is to believe"----But with Christ our father is "To believe is to see"--------U dont see anything now because u dont believe--but believe and u will see............God Loves us all ----and will be there for us in times when we need him the most--but just dont call upon his help when u are in trouble but call upon him everyday even when all things are going good for u--acknowledge him and praise and worship his name!!!!!!!!!!


I wouldn't take all this time to type this if i didnt care about yalls soul and about where my brothers will end up once Christ comes back to judge us!!!!

He is there---Dont let the evil dwell in your bodies and soul but cast them out-OUT and let the Good and holy spirits in and let them take over your life and body and soul........Be one with the lord--------Runaway from temptation.....And listen to the little holy voice inside of u that tells u the GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea man it is very hard---Because people don't want to believe that there is this almighty God --THis powerful God who created and made everything from Soil to the Heavens and the earth -- so they look to evolution--Which is so lame i mean very lame--They came up with a stupid idea that we evolve from apes--if it was true apes would still be evolving into humans until this day--Am i right??? --It is so lame that they came up with an idea and went so deep with it and came up with all theses stupid beliefs that it is more easy for people to believe that we evolved from apes rather than God who created the heavens and the earth----The truth is my brothers--is God is the truth--Believe and u will see--Dont be foolish to believe the anti-Christ---Believe!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have any good passages on healing? I need to read them. I am down casue I am not having this surgery. And now I Need to put all my faith in God and Pray for healing. I would like to ask Cyclops and Millionman and True4 to pray for me as well. That would mean the world to me. I am very frustrated at times. I feel that my parts are not working good, unless I take drugs to correct that. I hate it. I am going to put all my faith in God for this.

The whole modern Western Society is based on these rules, just look at the social security laws and regulations. We all pay taxes so we can take care of the less fortunate people in our society.
This is the real value of what Jesus tried to teach us, respect, take care and help your fellow-man.
