Baby Socks! How to make the base more comfortable

Here is what I have been doing to make the plastic base comfortable.

Take a baby sock and cut the end off.

Wrap the long part of the baby sock around the plastic base.

Very comfortable!

Good Idea. I have also heard that some guys use a mouse pad cut to size with a hole thru the center
for padding where the device presses against the pelvic bone area.

There is no pain at the base anymore, which is awesome because I can wear the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SizeGenetics[/words] for much longer sessions. However, even with the small amount of extra padding at the base, it can make it a little difficult to get my dick in it. I have an average amount of girth, but I imagine at some point, my girth will be too much. So I am wondering, is there a base mod which won't decrease the diameter of the base while still retaining comfort OR is there some sort of model I can buy which has a larger base?

The 2 together are very comfortable. First put on the sock, then the pad
