Welcome to the Brotherhood, @StonerWithABoner, I am @DLD. I encourage you to get involved and start making gains by reading through these two important threads, The Newbie Routine and the SRT Routine. The goal is to create a routine, If you need help in writing a routine let me know.

My starting size was 5.7 bpel x 4.2 mseg and now i'm about 7.1 bpel x 4.75 (been a long time since i measured though). My most impressive gains were in base girth. Started out at a rather sad 3.5 and now close to 5. And my most proud dimension is my head girth at 5.4, and over 6" after a good pump.

I'm sort of a PE vet, but feel like there's a lot i don't know. Been a forum lurker for a long time. Did manual exercises off and on from 2006 - 2015 and got serious in 2015. Bought a phallosan forte and bathmate and made most of my non-newbie gains during late 2015, early 2016 with those two devices.

Since then, i lost some drive, got complacent and content with my gains and overall size, but that desire to be bigger is always there. I still use the bathmate just for fun a few times a month. Not seeing any visible results though.

I was extremely embarrassed and ashamed about my size all those years ago, but learned to accept things along the way. My PE gains definitely helped. I now feel like a king in the locker room, not feeling the need to hide my 4.5x4.5 flaccid (it used to be like 1").

I don't have any precise goals, but girth is what i feel like i want the most.
 
If more girth is your goal and you have the BM, you're set for gains! ;)
I'm very happy to hear you've got rid of the locker room anxiety, that's a definitely a great benefit of PE if nothing else!

So, make a habit of using the BM. Not just for fun few times a month. More like 3-5 sessions per week.
Resting is important. Listen to your body, it's trial and error, one can go 5 days on, 2 off. Others feel that 1 day on, 1 day off works better.
Test and find out. Most important thing is to stay consistent and make those sessions regular thing of your week.
I also suggest the Slow Squash Jelqs!
Combine your Bathmate sessions to 5 minutes of BM, 5 minutes of jelqing, rinse and repeat three times.

Thanks @arkailija! Yeah, i gained significant girth with the BM. I just hit a plateau, and then my second child was born, which put PE way on the backburner for a long time. If I was single, I'd be putting in the sessions a lot harder for sure, but my wife thinks i'm plenty big now. She even said to stop gaining length because i hit her cervix in certain angles. But i do sense that she could handle, and would enjoy, a girthier cock than i currently have.

Family comes first.

Do you have the X30, Hercules or which model? If your length is fine to you and especially to your wife, then it could be a possibility to add something inside the pump to fill the negative space so that girth comes as the "winner." (If that makes sense ...)
It's possible to use a cockring inside the pump as well, this can target more girth gains.

As time is tight and you have family, I'd say aim for three BM sessions in a week if possible. That would be my minimum amount. (And that's what I personally do, although I'll be upgrading my "routine" soon enough.)
 
I have the X30 (not extreme). It's bad ass. My head damn near fills the chamber from left to right ? but nowhere close from top to bottom. My shaft leaves a lot of room on all sides?. I'd love to size out of it some day and upgrade to an X40. That would be a major milestone.

I usually do use a cockring, but only for my second 5 minute set in the tube (i usually do 3 5-minute sets, sometimes just 2). I definitely notice the added engorgement when using it, but the more i've done it, i think i've made my urethra narrower. Makes pissing annoying as hell. Have to squeeze my dick like 10 times to get the last drops out and sometimes drip in my pants as i walk away.
 
Ahh, that issue; I think I've also made my canal a bit more narrow. Remember Kegels though, those can help at least with the force.
X30 is a good tool and I'm sure you can make some girth gains. X40 would be a milestone indeed, but I think you'll do "just fine" if you fill most of X30. ;)

I also lack when it comes to hugging the walls, except my base. Good to know you've tried the cockring method. Other thing could be using a sleeve or double cockrings, if you've only used one. (At the base and behind the glans.)
Just throwing balls here. Lubrication could help as well if you haven't tried that. You're not a newbie as you've stated, so sorry if my ramblings seem "newbie curated."

If you haven't tried clamping I think you could give it a try. Many clamping exercises are directly towards girth gains, in my viewpoint at least.
