Hi all. Ive been a fairly heavy smoker since teenage( pack a day sometimz more) for the last 18 years or so ( been smoking since i was 17), i had been feeling erection issues for the last 5 years or so. I want to kick this habit so my erection quality cud improve alongwith arousal so i can reap the benefits of PE fully. I want some motivational stories from the community, people who had quit and seen benefits. Whats your story? What changes have you observed in your erection and what effects does quitting had on your PE endeavours. How soon it was apparant that quitting made the difference

I quit and I feel great today because of it. I was a pack a day then I went to half a pack and eventually 2-3 cigarets a day, plus a vape. I could not break the habit this way so I went a different direction. I quit cold turkey and used an unlit cigarette to accomplish it. I still today, 13 months later, puff on that unlit cigarette never even tempted to light it. I found that what gave me the most joy in smoking was the oral fixation. I solved this with a cigarette :) The biggest issue is weight gain. I worked relatively hard to lose the weight I had lost but quitting smoking turned up my craving to eat. So now I am smoke free but chubby :) It is like whack a mole, one habit down another pops its head out! Keep that hammer handy!

I quit 25 years ago and am thankful every single day...I find the smell (and all that goes with it disgusting now). Quitting will be the best decision you'll ever make (no hyperbole), but replace it with an exercise instead of food...every time you get that craving, go for a quick run/jog/walk. After 2 weeks, you'll have it 90% conquered (that last 10% may take a few years, tho).

You'll love you life w/out cigarettes

thanks Big, i will definitly keep that in mind. can you please also elaborate on the changes you had observed on your EQ? what changes did you observe during the first couple of months??

I'm 40 and switched to vaping over 3 years ago. No change in EQ due to quitting. Stress and offer factors have more of an effect on my EQ.

However if I smoke some green the EQ goes through the roof. Works like Viagra for me.

I'm in my mid 50's and have 'morning-wood' 99% of the time (the only exceptions seem to be when I have a cold, or when I'm trying to take a 'progress photo), so EQ hasn't been too much of an issue for me. i will say that whenever there's a chance that I'll be 'entertaining' a lovely girl, I will take some insurance (V or C) because it eliminates any angst and allows me to just enjoy the experience stress-free. My best PE sessions occur when I still have the latent effects cuz getting to 100% EQ happens almost immediately.

I guess the general 'rule-of-thumb' would be to maintain a healthy diet, drink lots of clean water, exercise regularly, use alcohol judiciously and get plenty of REM sleep...everything is inter-connected (physical/emotional/mental/spiritual)

Well I never had morning erections and now I do. My eq has always been awesome so no change there. This biggest thing I noticed is I don't smell like a dirty ashtray anymore! It is so awesome when we can conquer something that held us in bondage for so long. I wish you the best and try my unlit cigarette method, I think it is the best out of all!

do u smoke or vape MJ at all if i recall correctly or do edibles?

personally i've never smoked tobacco and thankful for my discipline but also it disgusts me anyway

i actually smoked MJ for a while in my late teens to early twenties but i've been free of that for over a year now

i would say the MJ kind of enlightened my PE experiences but honestly doing it sober is not much different at all

honestly man u just have bite down and deny the urge to smoke tobacco considering the adverse effects and health issues

at least replace it with a liquid vape or what DLD suggested. things like this have to be dealt with

It has begun. NOT A PUFF ANYMORE!!

Use a cigarette to help quit the habit. That is what I did and it worked. I still puff on the unlit cigarette to this day, 13 months later. It is the best method I used to quit and I tried everything. For me it was a total oral habit.

This is the best decision you'll ever make!

I'm really hoping and praying to have the will power to quit MJ permanently

i actually quit MJ cold turkey one day in November 2016. I haven't smoked it since then

well actually one of the reasons was i was low on money at that time so that kind of forced the decision to quit it

but even ever since i started making money again i didn't lay a hand on it

Bro its the little things.
Think about whats going on right now and imagine how you're life will progress if you continue living with those habits.
Kick that trash to the curve and drink plenty of water everytime you get that craving back!

By Monday morning, I will do my best to make sure I quit this smoking habit. I really want to be free from it.

Does drinking a lot of water helps kill the craving?

The last 2 years of high school and over a year and a half after was spent in a cloud of smoke. I at least waited until after work after I got out of high school... most of the time lol

Then I joined the USMC and had to stop and clear my system in 3 weeks. Still not sure how I managed to not pee hot but I was clean.

Ever since I got out it's been really hard to get back into. I can't stand smoking with pretty much everyone cause they turn into blithering idiots. I'll smoke from time to time but it's weird after you get used to having your head clear again. I try to go for stuff that gives a good body high.

I do know if I smoke and my wife is in the mood the EQ is through the roof. I couldn't sleep one night so I smoked. Woke her up 15 minutes later with basically a rock. She didn't complain lol.

It does get expensive though. Plus all the stuff that's around now is insane THC levels. Wax, oils, edibles, all of it will kick your ass.

It curves the habit. Kinda like when you're ears hear a sound and you're mind wants to do a specific action.
