They're good for raising your body temp (not too high, be careful) so they'll help any body process that benefits from that. A few xtra pounds of water, excreting toxins, "sweating out a cold", that kind of thing. I use various neoprene compression supports for my crickety-crackety old joints.

I use them to cut weight for competition. I can't see why anyone not involved in a weight class sport would use one.

@ maxaeyes what you tell me what brand gear do you get it from? Yea the neoprene were the best material. How much water weight did you lose 1 day and it hard to tell how much you lose the body fat even you losing the water weight at the same time :/

@ pest is depend on there schedule. But the main are the penis workout for them.

I use one everyday when I do a high rep workout. They are great for ridding the body of water weight. Try it and take it slow starting out. You will feel great !!!!!:)

have to remember guys water weight affects more muscle then fat, so may not be the best approach to losing bodyfat.

I've got fairly advanced Degenerative Joint Disease, so I use the various neoprene wraps for compression, heat retention, pain relief and "massage".
Back when I was active duty and wrestling with their idiotic "body-fat" measurements I'd use a pair of compression shorts to squeeze an extra coupla inches off my waist measurement when PT test season came.
I never was much on measuring my body dimensions, performance always meant more for me.

Any good sporting goods store should have a good selection.

Couldnt agree more! A suana suit forces WATER out of you. This is a huge no-no! There is PLENTY of info if you do a google search on Dangers of Sauna suits. They do not help you lose fat, just water. Intensity of a workout gets rids of BF over time. "Creating a bigger engine" making your body a caloric burning machine. Just cause you can sweat your ass off with a suana suit, this has zero effect on turning you into a calorie burning machine.

Bingo. The only other use is I guess when people want to sweat an illness/toxin out.

I wouldn't advise using them during a heavy workout. You want to keep those fluids.
