hey DLD,

I love your website but have one gripe that I wish could be changed. I often have your website up on my computer but have it minimized. This is the problem, your website when minimized says "Penis Enlargement fo..". Is there anyway you could maybe change it so those at work, or at home with roomates don't have to sweat someone finding out? Maybe just "Mattersofsize.." , or something along those lines?

Thanks, my biggest fear is getting busted at work, or one of my friends using my computer when i am in the bathroom or something.

I know, don't look at it at work...I've tried.

Luke

Matters Of Size would still draw attention, trust me, I got caught at the dorms one time when I was over Zack's... well almost but the kid who asked, "Hey Sam... what's this matters of..." I ran to him and shut the computer... so uHydromax yeah...
But I can see what you're getting at
Maybe bookmark the page? :D Or erase the history?

I'm not sure I agree that "Matters of Size" is just as conspicuous as "Penis Enlargement Forums". When minimized, the "Penis Enlargement Forums" really spells out what your looking at while "Matters of Size" can easily pass as a body building forum or something ambiguous. At a cyber cafe, work, library, parents house, etc. where someone might see the web pages you have minimized I guess is what I'm talking about. Personally, I don't really care about clearing the history cause no one uses my laptop; but they can potentially see what pages I have minimized while I'm working.

I know that it's easy to change on the sites I've worked on but I'm not familiar with managing forums.

Thanks for bringing this up Luke, I concur.

Yup I have have had the same issue as well. I use tabs and I just tab over in my browser to another page the the matters of size tab still says Penis Enlargement...

I suBathmateit "DLD's Matters of Size" because most would probably see DLD's matters ... and the rest left out. I don't think that would be conspicuous at all.

I can see the point. I have my computer up many times with the "penis enlargement" box flashing on screen. It's never been much of a problem, because my friends know I Penis Enlargement and shit, but something tells me one day someone is going to look at it and I'll have some explaining to do, or something.

I use the tabs also, but it's somewhat of a pain. Just about anything would be less conspicuous than 'Penis Enlargement Fo...' which shows on my tabs and task bar.

I'm sure this is a little problematic for those that find themselves using a college library computer where 50 other people are up and walking around constantly. Hey, might get you laid. :)

It could be worse, think if you were browsing for info on STD's and someone saw a window called 'STD Survivial and You'.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but here's a fix to our "getting caught" problem.

1. Right-click on a blank space on your taskbar and click Properties.
2. Check the box that says "Auto-hide the taskbar."
3. Click OK.

These instructions work for Windows XP. If you can't get the right-click thing to work, you can also get there by going to Start, Control Panel, then either "Appearance & Themes" then "Taskbar and Start Menu" if you're in Category View or just "Taskbar and Start Menu" if you're in Classic View.

In previous versions of Windows (or in XP set to Classic view), you should be able to get there by going to Start, Settings, Taskbar & Start Menu.

This will hide the taskbar at the bottom as a one or two pixel gray line until you move your mouse down to the bottom of the screen and then it will pop up. You can also press the "Windows" key on your keyboard or press Ctrl-Esc to pop up the Start Menu if you have trouble finding it :)

Ok and for those that don't use "Windows"? I think the best solution would be to change the text or even just change it around. "Matters of Size Forums for Penis by DLD" That seems harmelssenough to me.

I used a bit of web savvy here, try this...

let me know what you think... it might be ok for people using the net at work, the ad strip along the bottom is a slight inconvinience, but it might be worth it :)

Or you can just erase the history too if you didn't want them to find any trace of you being there in the first place. I know that had nothing to do with what you guys are talking about but it is a helpful lil hint
