so i have been using the Bathmate once a day for about 5 days now with no problems. but today when i used it, the suction wouldnt work. when i push it to my body, it sucks on for the first pump but then if i pump after that, it loses its suction. could someone please tell me whats wrong? is there a way i could send it back to Bathmate and get a refund or a replacement model? i have the x40 by the way. im a college student and i spent all of the extra money i had on this. please help when you can, thanks.

Hmm, why don't you try to mail them to get an answer?

And what do you think is the problem- is it the gaitor?

Sounds like the valve has come dislodged, simply place the pump on a flat surface, and with force, pump until the valve reseats. This may take a few times. If this does not work you may need to take the valve apart and clean it, have you been using any oil products for pumping? If this is the case follow the video directions to cleaning the valve in the stickies in the Bathmate Forum.

Check and see if the valve is loose or stuck in the wrong position first. Sometimes the valve can be stuck in there a bit sideways which would cause this.

ive tried the flat surface suggestion and ive cleaned it, but still no luck. i think i just need to contact Bathmate and get either a replacement model or a refund.

I "break in" the valve every time before using the x40. Just locking and unlocking it side to side to loosen it up. This sorted out all my problems with the pressure. I also read that you want to keep in in the unlock (center) position when not in use as well.

ill give that a shot then before i contact them and see if that works. hopefully it does cuz i really dont want to go through the hassle of talking to customer service.

A good push on a flat surface can also help in reseating a valve.
