Which Is Better For Weight/Fat Loss?

I'm planning on either walking for an hour in the evenings or very light weight training to try to lose fat, if not overall weight. When I say weight training I'm talking like curls, bench presses, leg lifts, crunches, etc. with very low weight and a ton of reps to get my heart pumping. I would think that this would be better than walking but please let me know what you think.

Cardio is good for weight loss. Weight training is good for it too. Do both. Burn more calories than you ingest. I would not do "very low weight and a ton of reps", but a regular routine. Unfortunately, walking for an hour won't help much (unless you are walking up a steep hill really fast). Nutrition is a major factor.

From an amateur with advice from some pros:

Both weights heavy and light. Both reps low and high. Cardio and weights. Efficiency of workout is more important than duration and reps.

Ideal diet = 55% Protein, 20% Carbs and 25% Fats . Supplements can help a lot.

I'd guess that you want atleast 1 g of protein per lb of body weight per day. You may want to start low and slowly increase protein intake. You may want to take it up to 1.5 g per lb. 2g/lb is what is generally used fo bulking IIRC and may cause you to gain wieght.

Supplements like Nitric Oxide aka NO2 and "Megaisolate" protein from GNC are some good helpers in my opinion, but they are not necessary.

HTH. Good luck and dedication.
