Too small tube, dangers?

Hey!

I bought this pump for fun when ordering some other product: http://www.ohouiboutique.com/modules/catalog/products/photo.ashx?photoId=796
(Pump measurements: 19.5 cm length, 5 cm diameter)

I wasn't really paying attention to the measurements at the time, and when I tried it out, I noticed that the tube might be too small for me, because the lower part of my dick pretty much fills the tube if I'm erect without any pumping. So I'm guessing it won't get any fatter in that region, but can I hope for it to still enlarge the upper areas? (I've got one of those with a thick base and a rather small head).

From your description your tube sounds fine for awhile.

In my opinion a tube is only too small if your entire shaft is vacuumed hard against the tube walls.
Leaving just your glan to be vacuumed on the tip, then it is far too easy to apply an excessive vacuum, all applied to your glan tip.
The result can be water/blood blisters forming on your glan tip.

I would hold off until you give your stats so we can judge how much space you really have to grow. I'd personally wait for DLD's masterful advice. Artflop gives two good points but they are giving you two completely different results. Also, how big do you want to get? If it's bigger than the tube you have now, you should just buy a new one that will give you more room to grow, so as to avoid any possibility of danger. My biggest pumping fear is getting stuck in the damn thing because I filled it up a little to well.
