Can someone measure the diameter at the opening and the depth from the bottom of the bubble to the top of the rim.? I am going to make an attempt at making one. :) I will keep you guys posted. TIA
 
Those film canisters are too small. Besides... I own a small lathe I can make one whatever size I want (to exact specifications).

DLD... Yes pictures are available. But it's difficult to get the "exact" measurements through a picture.
 
Well. I made one. Preliminary results are very good. I was able to hang 10 pounds with ease. No pain whatsoever. I was able to actually feel the stretch along the shaft instead of just the ligs. Now I just have to figure out a good way to tape up. The first aid tape that I used was difficult and painful to get off. I'm also going to make a less bulky one to wear as an anti turtle device. I also need to find something good to use as the compression tube. What I'm using now works but I need something less bulky. Any ideas?

Why dont you just order some spare parts from SS ? Also, to get the tape off, try dunking your taped unit in a glass of warm soapy water.

i've been using a very thin mini bandage, wrap a couple times around head then fold top edges hanging out, down like wrapping a present and bit of vasoline to keep it in place. much less painful then tape and faster to get off. i do 3 layers around head.
