Well me a few others had great results. I see some people attempting it and not getting good enough strain results. I suspect this is either from not using therapeutic heat properly, not using enough weights or being over conditioned and needing a decon or some combination. These strategies are somewhat on the advanced spectrum. I'm coming back from another break and will restart in late September after a race I've been training for. I was up to 8.19 inches BPEL and am now measuring 7.75 inches so I lost about a half inch on a very long decon, which is to be expected. Plus I had intended to do a few more cycles to cement but I work in medical and covid was on some other bullshit.
You need to have some sort of skin conditioning and have your taping method down if using vacuum hanger or extenders. Hell for compression hangers you need to have skin condition and wrap down. You need to know what injuries to avoid and maybe even what the beginning of one looks like. And if like me you got up to 20 lbs hanging or have been stalled for significant amount of time you need to take a long break because the addition of therapeutic heat alone to really tough tissue may not be enough to elicit the strain needed.
