Sure, man anyone can FIT into one. Not many men can keep them on though! Granted, they are tapered at the base....I remember when Magnum/Magnum XLs were too big around for me. So, maybe youre 5.25" girth and CAN keep one on...I bet besides the ring around the base....the rest of the condom is loose on ya. Not pointing out anyone in particular. I'm just making the point that sure, lots of guys can 'fit into one' but, it's still a fact that the minority of men actually NEED to buy them. Thats' where the pride in buying them comes in. Knowing you NEED to buy them. Not just because you can keep one on due to the fact the ring holds it on for ya. This reminds me of a convo. I had with DLD a week or two ago. They always fit decent because some other brands would affect eq by being too tight. After doing PE for a few months however I occasionally get a red ring around the base after using these.

Ive been focusing on girth mostly but my base is still just under 6". Probably have to switch to XL in a few months.

IDN, I have always felt like the larger rubbers were a sales pitch more than anything. LIGHTNING took a standard size condom and stretched it over his head, he has a big head too! No ripping, it fit like a glove My feeling are they will put the large next to regular. Who is going to buy a smaller sized condom in from of a woman at the check out? I think it plays on our insecurities and makes the rubber company a few more bucks.
