I wanted to start a thread about reconditioning after a break. I have problems with bruising and skin tears after a take a break as short as one day. It has gotten to be pretty bad in the past. I really want to get a thread going to discuss possible ways of reconditioning without few if any problems. My current problem is recovering from the t-vein that I have, and it seems to be going fairly well at the moment.
I've always warmed up and used basic moves when I have taken a break of a week or more. I use a heating pad for stretching and hot water baths to warm up for girth work of any kind. It was a bit of a shock for me to get a t-vein when I am so careful about warming up and prepping correctly.
I'm planning on taking about 28 days off for right now, but when I restart my girth work I want to be sure that the t-vein doesn't come back and that I can recondition properly.
