Question: How to achieve baseball bat effect?

I know most people are trying to get rid of it, but I want it. Please, someone help me get the baseball bat effect!

I'm tapered to begin with, and I'm seeing more gains at midshaft and base than I am near the head. I've gained .25" at midshaft and base, but only .1" at the head. My girth behind the head is now 5", and at the base it's 6". I want to be like 5.75" at the head, and 6.25" at the base ideally.

I'm thinking about adding half-jelqs to my routine. (starting halfway up)

Is that going to work?
