THIRD time is the charm!

Switched it up a bit, got a hard on and then let it subside to 80% or so and then pumped 4 minutes with comfort insert.
This was better, compared to entering completely flacid as I have been doing.

Took off the insert and worked the blood flow a bit before reinserting and this time pumped until shortly in to this 5 minute period my penis lengthened out to it's normal maximum length according to the gauge. I've seen notes "don't trust the gauge", but in my case, the reading was at 7" and that's what I measure erect. Success!

The gators were not quite maxed out, and the pressure was comfortable if a bit on the "whoa, that's doing something" side. Squeezed a bit more water out for final minute, discomfort was minimal.

Did another 5 minute pump, head got lodged on side wall so this limited expansion. Head was purple in the area where it was stuck on the side of the pump tube. No issues, again, worked things out.

Final 2 minute pump was max pressure and then pulled out and worked to erect state, wow, never ever been that big in my life. EQ is very good even straight out of the pump. Not sure if that's what others see, but for me, my EQ was really strong after this session, no issues or discomfort so far.

Cannot thank the brothers here for the excellent information available, the comfort insert is now consigned to the first initial pump, and long term I may not even use it.

Going to take a day off and let things recover down below.

My mental state is extremely positive, so I'd like to revel in this and see if I'm feeling like pumping every other day or more than that works for me for the first week or two.

I've read about addiction to pumping and given that I am very much focused on EQ, I'll slow down for a bit before I increase my pace.

As for EQ, valentines morning was very solid indeed, I had pumped at 5PM yesterday, and the EQ was better than a full dose of Cialis/Tadalafil could provide.

Pumped same routine, 3 mins with insert, 4 minutes without insert and with semi from first pump, 5 minutes more pressure and stretched out (not quite the max I got in previous session, but within 1/3").
An hour later, the blood flow and sensitivity are way up and I'm feeling fantastic. The day off was good, I noticed slight amount of red spots on the skin which I hadn't seen previously post-pump. Will monitor.

Result is morning wood like I've not had in years, solid girth gain (not going to measure) and no noticeable issues.
Slight edema when I pumped for 7 minutes high pressure, so keeping to 5 at max or less.

I suggest that you use the ball and ligament stretch in between your sets. This will loosen up everything and allow you to make much greater length
 
One month update:

1. keeping a 3 days on 2 off for sessions recently
2. EQ is substantially better the morning after a session previous night
3. no issues with the pump, high quality product, not using comfort insert at all anymore
4. using slightly lower pressure than maximum, reaching larger dimensions in the pump each week
5. total session time reducing from 40 minutes to 25, with generally <15 mins under pressure (4 mins, 5 mins, 5 mins)
6. everything figured out, smooth sessions, just continuing on now

Remember my goal is EQ, which has been showing improvements, so I'll continue for the next 5 months and if there are any notes to be made, I'll leave them here. But for now, A-OK.

If a new user comes across this thread, note that I am not focused on gains, just getting back to my "initial specification" from my younger years.

Notes.
1. tried a few high pressure pumps a few weeks ago, didn't like the results physically, now I'm staying under the maximum the product is capable of achieving
2. discoloration is more intense when pressure is higher, fades in a few days
3. using hot tap water, filling in sink, not showering per se just emptying in the shower area, very convenient
4. cleaning cylinder and hand pump attachment every 3rd session with soap

One year update.

ERECTION QUALITY

Focus on EQ paid off. I no longer take any medications for blood flow, not needed!
Morning wood is furiously strong.
Easily able to get erections at all times, day or night.
Erection duration of at least one hour achieved when properly stimulated.
This means foreplay can be extended for long periods, which makes for more meaningful connection/interactions.


TRUTH about SIZE
Yes, (as you all warned me) of course I have gained length and girth.
This was not an initial goal, as my focus was to regain what I had been losing.
However, this is truly a beneficial side effect of pumping.


LENGTH

The first time I pumped 1 year ago, I was 0.5" below my maximum natural length according to the Bathmate gauge.
Within the first month, the gauge matched my normal erect length.
As the months progressed, I was exceeding measurements in-pump slowly and continuously.
To avoid this visual distraction (gauge), I flip the pump around so the gauge is below and out of my view.
Now 1 year later, I pumped with the gauge showing and was beyond the gauge, well beyond the point where the pump tube narrows.
I measured from base of pump with a ruler and was 1" longer in the pump vs my maximum erectile length achieved in my youth.
To provide this review, I measured an "official" BPEL outside of the pump with a many days off.

Length Result:
One year of pumping, measurable length gain, varies, but easily 0.4" longer on regular basis when erect.
Key point: I am now exceeding the length from when I was much younger and achieving rock hard erections.


GIRTH

I've always been on the good side of girth, but fading as my erection strength waned over the past decade.
Within two weeks of pumping, I noticed girth stayed plump for hours post pump.
Penis base is way larger girth gain than the rest of the shaft, which has "evened out" my average girth to pretty much even across the entire length.
One year later, the girth gains have been kept longer post pump.
I can no longer use the "comfort insert" of the Bathmate when pumping using water, the restriction is uncomfortable.

Girth Result :
Post pump (within 5 hours), I am 1" to 1.3" more rock hard girth (not soft or spongy).
After many days off pumping, girth is still 0.5" better, hard or soft than ever in my life before pumping.
Key Point : Girth feels fantastic.


ROUTINE

Typical week is 4 pump days.

Sometimes I pump in the shower with water, without the comfort insert. Initial pump 2 minutes to get hard. Reset and pump again to medium pressure for 4 minutes. Reset and pump final at maximum pressure allowed without using the hand pump. This is a "maintenance" pump. Steady pressure.

A few times per week I do an intense pump session, using water, without the comfort insert. 3 minutes medium pressure. Reset and massage. 5 minutes more pressure. Reset and massage. 6 minutes with increasing pressure up to maximum (hand pump will not void any more water) for the final minute. Reset and massage. 5 minutes with increasing pressure up to maximum (hand pump will not void any more water) for the final 2 minutes. After releasing the maximum pressure, there is very little water left in the tube, just filling the spherical section of the bottom of tube, that means all of the water in the main "tubular" section was voided during the pump session. At no time do I feel more than minor discomfort during the session. I've properly adapted to the pressures and it feels good.

Twice per week or when convenient I pump without water using the hand pump and with the comfort insert. The air pressure drops due to inconsistent seal at the base, so this might be termed an "interval pump" session, where the pressure is variously increased, then drops and repeat. I let the pressure drop to the point where my erection feels "throbbing" and I have good sensitivity to fresh blood flow, stay at that level for half a minute or so, then restart the pumping using the hand pump attachment until the throbbing stops and the ache of the pump pressure is noticeable. The comfort insert restricts girth substantially, so my size in pump is muted.



NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS

Penis is darker, always. Red spots often appear after my intense pump sessions, so I have been doing that kind of pumping less often. The interval air pumping is a convenient way to get a pump in, while also having no spots, discoloration or other side effects. The most common side effect now is looking forward to the next pump LOL.

Edema and water retention was common in the first few months of pumping where I was learning and adapting to the system. Now, even with maximum pressure for short periods, I avoid this by being vigilant on the visual cues and feelings. I can achieve the same intense pump and have a massively erect penis post pump without any side effects. Now, side effects are 1 in 10 pumps or less.


FLACID EFFECTS

On a regular basis, I am plump. Even in cold temperatures I no longer shrink to minimal size, there is always more than I was used to down below. As a "grower", this is a new experience.


Not looking for any response or confirmation. Just posting here in case someone older like me who experienced erectile dis-function and wants great erection quality to return.

TLDR

Bathmate pumping has restored my erection to BEYOND my youthful power.
Cialis medication was a short term partial aide, but pumping is a long term SOLUTION.
Erectile dis-function in older men need not happen, start pumping earlier in life.
Erection points up and is 100% firm. (no change in ligaments or angle)

Did you do anything else this past year health wise that may have improved your EQ, or is what you have detailed here everything?

I have had issues with ED the past uear or so. Didnt start until I statyed PE. Had never had that issue in my life. Doing research and I could be wrong I concluded I was too aggressive and may have experienced death grip. Didn't know pumping restores erection quality. Is this common knowledge, something you tried because of research?

Pumping and jelqing is known, and had been known, for over 2000 years to help with ED. We simply researched and verified on the validity on the ancient hunches and scientifically proven the methodology. ED can be a cause for going too hard and too fast. This is the fact.

Not so healthy as it was made of copper. Ever heard of the torture devices for the penis in the dark Euro period? That was one of the early reinventions of extreme PE.

I exercise regularly, and eat protein oriented diet. I'm 8 lbs heavier than I was at 30 when I was at my peak fitness, but this can vary 10 lbs in either direction depending on the time of year. Dropping weight helped.

I took my EQ for granted, and before I knew it, age caught up with me. My lesson is simple, if you see the signs of blood pressure issues or waning EQ, drugs are only a temporary aide. I knew penis pumps existed, but never dreamed I'd ever need to use one!

My Doctor prescribed Cialis, and that helped to "wake my penis up", but the cost is significantly more long term than the pump. The drugs didn't help my confidence at all, and I only take them now for a "surprise boost" once in a while as I have a few months supply left which if I don't take daily could take me a long time to use up.

The results of pumping strictly for EQ helped my confidence and emotional state significantly, and without a doubt, positive outlook this has been one of the most important health gains.

My PE is entirely due to age. I never did any sort of PE in my life prior to buying the pump a year ago.

WARNING

I overdid the pumping a few times. The biggest mistakes happened when I left the pump on too long. Now, I have a timer count down 5 minutes. My initial pump is never longer than 3 minutes, that shorter initial pump is just a warm up. 5 minutes is the sweet spot for how my body responds to purely EQ oriented pumping. I also don't enter with a full erection when water pumping, just about 80% hard is plenty. Max pressure is only for a short duration at the end of a short 5 minute pump, anything longer than 2 minutes results in edema and a ruined pump session where I'll stop pumping for 3 days or so. I pump only if there are no signs of stress and the ache is pleasant. Any sort of pain and I stop immediately, even if the pain is slight. The Bathmate is a strange device, hard to use initially, and the "gator bite" is a real thing if you get the angle wrong to start!

If I am successful for a few days in a row and the sessions are good, I might do 4 days consecutively. However, I rarely get that many days in a row without feeling like I'm over-training. I'd say the average week is 3 - 4 sessions. Interval air pumping has been a recent addition as I find it is far less physically stressful than water, as the pressure is far less due to air leakage.

TIP

Water pumping with an air tight seal is noticeably more stressful and the engorgement is so complete that there is little room left by the time I'm at my third pump set of the session. I learned to use soap to lather up prior to pressing the pump to my body, this solved the issues I initially had sealing the pump to my body. I use warm water, just on the edge of truly hot temperature. I massage in between pump sets which helps reduce the worst side effects of discoloration.

I feel so revolutionary I pe. I can't believe how long ago it happened. Do you have a picture of the pump? Interested in how it looks and operates.
 
Did your penis change to bat shape because of bathmate ?

All of the changes over the past year of pumping are positives for me, and Ifeel fortunate that my body responded well.

On contrary, shape change was entirely useful, making the shape more even across the length when erect.

Flacid shape was changed as well, length and girth increase. I no longer shrink significantly even in the cold.

Color is noticeably affected by pumping, even with a week off it's much darker. Fine with me.
