only doing downward stretches for base girth?

hi,

i saw that on previous threads dld mentioned downward hanging along with downward stretches helps increase base girth.

im just getting started on Penis Enlargement and dont really want to buy any hanging equipment for now.

are downward stretches alone suffice to significantly increase base girth? also whats the difference between downward and behind-the-cheeks stretches?
