Not Getting Credit for Accomplishments

So everybody likes to be acknowledged for something they do. I wouldn't say it necessarily bothers me when I don't get credit for something, but when people try to judge me and question what I have done, the not getting credit or acknowledgement can be annoying.

So what are some things you have done that you are at least somewhat proud of yet get no credit or acknowledgement for?

I'll go first.

One, I protected a younger sibling from the outside world and especially the neighborhood we grew up in, and did everything I could to be the best big brother he could have. This included losing my own innocence and childhood so that he could have one.

Two, I directly positively impacted the lives of two people and made their current lives more possible by talking to them and making a point to be around them when nobody else would. This resulted in their eventually making friends and having an actual life and even eventually meeting girls.

Three, I almost singlehandedly took a very well known message board from being rinky dink and barely updated to the huge thing it is now, by starting hundreds of threads and all kinds of discussions.

Not very impressive I know, but still. This is off the top of my head. There may be more I forgot.

My family and friends do not give me credit for [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words], it used to bother me a lot but now a days I am ok with it.

when i was 16 some of the bad kids wanted to beat up this pretty innocent weird kid at school.

i stopped them they attacked me. i beated them up.

same evening there was this kids party. they met up with their big brothers like 4 cars etc.

my dad who is ex elite soldier called his friend who is this huge fucking dude.

he literally went over there and tipped the car on to the roof. looked like something from a movie.

obviously they ran away.

but after that. i was considered the problem.

now i was the bully.

one time my mom flipped at a parents meeting because the refered to me as a problem kid.

i always followed the other kids home from parties etc. because i could handle myself in a fight they couldn't it just seemed natural for me to do.

my mom insisted on me not helping them after that. told me if they didn't appreciate it. don't give it to them.

she was hurt because i got a bad rep for doing the right thing.

i just learned that people in groups can be idiots. and that people will put you into a box if they can't understand you.

and i just hit my first goal of 18 cm. in PE. has been kind of hard not to brag to people on the street!

oh and im an amazing bouncer. im like the best in the business at talking my way out of fights.

and make a nice vibe in a club.

and people just doesn't appreciate that

Looking back at my grandfather's life and how solid and tireless he was for his large family...

..I now see just about everyone, but perhaps his wife, took him totally for granted.

We tend to take everything The Universe gave us for granted, including the capacity to change the size of our penises to suit our needs. Why do we expect any gratitude from anyone?
Obviously this is not easy to take; just pointing out how it is.

Here's a law I'm going to suggest to you:
the stronger and more dependable the man, the more he's taken for granted.

You get taken for granted? How much? A HUGE amount. Congrats, you're probably in the Man Big Leagues.

congrats on getting to 18cm. How would you brag to anyone about that though? They'd just be confused, "so what you're telling me is you've got an 18cm cock? Good for you",

"Right. But the thing is I didn't before. That's what I'm saying..."

"You didn't have a cock before. That's real funny bro."

And thank you for keeping people from fighting in that club.

Truth.

It used to bug me that I got no credit for helping BIB finalize the idea behind the "hardcore" hanger. I've made peace with it though and of course, now have my own design and recently knocked his site out of the #1 spot on page 1 of Google.

a few words that all men should have up on their wall as a reminder of their potential contribution:

"Do not go timidly into that good night.

Don't let others cause you to question your worth.

Live up to your highest standards, go to bed with a clear head and calm conscience.

Let others worry about what they think.

Every morning, get up and be certain you will do your best work.

Then do it.

If someone offers to lend you a hand, let them.

If you see someone in need, help them.

You were born to be your best self. It is a high calling.

Live up to it.

It will be worth it in the end
."

clear and practical words we all should follow for our own good
And it is through ensuring we are all at our best, for our own good, as often as we can, that the World will too be better in future for all of us.
