It is the length of the hanger itself. A starter was developed for guys who were smaller on request to Bib during the development phase. A lot of big guys like the starter too. So it is up to you.

Yea I prefer the starter model. I think it should be called the regular model or something like that and the regular model should be called the large model or something similar. Opinions aside, I like the starter because it is a more precise fit for me, with a lot less "fine tuning" that needs to be done. Fewer adjustments in other words.

Yeah I have both and prefer the starter. Its more of a pin point setup rather than a broad range. I like being able to go all the way to the base with the starter like Bib recommends and pinpoint the stretch / hang there.

i believe SWM said that they ran him around $90 for the starter and $120 or $130 for the regular back when he bought them. but i don't know if that's what it'll be now. i hope they're cheaper b/c that's a lot more than i thought it would be.

I highly doubt they'll be cheaper than what I already mentioned above in this thread. They werecheaper for a while when BIB first offered them, but think about it, he takes time out of his already busy life to build these by hand. The labor alone is worth more than what he's offering them for. If you cant scrape $90 together in 30 days, something is seriously wrong in your financial situation. Most guys blow $5 a day on useless crap.
