If you are using a pump without a gauge, like a Bathmate, as you are fully erect while pumping, there is no sensation of your penis is being expanded. That can be anywhere between 3inHg to 4.5inHg (low pressure zone). When you start to feel your penis is being tugged or being forced to expand, that can range between 4inHg to 6inHg (moderate pressure zone). When you start to feel the pressure forcing the pennis to expand nearly reaching an uncomfortable feeling without tingling pain, you are at high pressure zone. Any more is dangerous for you at the moment. That high pressure zone can be anywhere between 5inHg to 8inHg. This is why it's critical to know your pressure at all time.
 
Ok. I usually go to where it gets to be kinda painful and then back it off a bit. I have a dry pump which has a purge button to release pressure. How long should I hold a pump and how many sets do you think I should do??

Nope.It should not be anywhere near painful. That is one way to break your penis.

Base on the SRT, it depends where you are and what you do. Most static pressures remain for 60 seconds tops. Dynamic pressures remain between 30 to 60 seconds.
 
SRT is the most powerful way forward. I am working on SRT light for those who feel SRT too much. you can literally cut SRT in half until your ready for SRT total routine.
 
Is all turtling mean you’ve over worked it? I mean some turtling has to be good right?? Just need to rest it right?? Like a muscle

Not all turtling is bad. Turtling on a warm day is an indicator you overstressed it. Turtling on a cold day is normal. Turtling completely inside your body like it's a tiny little mushroom is bad..very bad. That's preservation mode as it placed itself into extreme healing period.

Yes. A typical turtling is about 30% of the total penile flaccid state.

Bingo. Don't worry so much about turtling to the point you go bald. Just wrap it up gently and allow the blood to flow.
 
I had that extreme turtle back when I first started. Scared the shit out of me lol. Couldn’t even work I remember I went home. Fkn nightmare feeling. It felt gone lol
 
Been being patient like you said doing light btc stretches every couple days or so with the tug test. And did light ball and log today. Still doesn’t feel ready to be back yet

No worries. Just be patient on that front. Your tissues are just transitioning. Some are faster, some are slower. Overall, don't pay attention so much on the tug back rather than blood flow. If your penis is nice and healthy pink, you're good. If it's a color a pale ghost rider, you have to ask, "Errr..lil buddy, you need a shot of vodka?" Keep us posted. Again, wrap, wrap, wrap. Gentle wrap, with a sleeve if possible, to keep that poor guy warm and promote blood flow. Your tissues WILL relax to a more subtle flaccid.
 
Focus strongly on deep tissue massage and the Ball and Lig stretch as these will bring healing so much quicker than not doing them. Rest is also very important but be sure you dont turn a break into a permanent vacation. Set up your routine to something that aslo, if necessary, rest days. Something like 7 on no off, 5 days on two off or you can go with every other day. Be smart and honest when choosing a routine with rest days.
