No matter what I do or what time I go to bed, I always wake up at like 6-7am, and cannot go back to bed. I am so drowsy. What do I do? I can drink all night and I still wake up at 7am. I can fall right asleep but I cant stay asleep long. I have been averaging about 3-5 hours a day.

Melatinon. Get 3mg pills and take 6-9mg before bed and if you wake up. You will be in dream land.

Actually I slept like a baby when I was on it, good thing I start another Cycle on Monday, I was hitting my REM sleep every night on the IGF-1LR3

Another vote for the Melatonin pills. I only take 3 mg nightly and sleep very well. I can only imagine what 6-9 mgs will do. It does mess with seratonin levels, but not in a bad way as it's natural.

I have the same sleep problem. Last night i lay in bed all night and never went to sleep. I average about 2-3 hours a night. I will try the melatonin as well.

Supra would it be anything *outside* your body? eg;

Light coming through curtains
Noise outside
Is there a lot of electrical equipment in the bedroom
Is the room too cold/warm?

just a thought.

I would say answer levista's stuff on this, and try to relax some .... strange as it seems, but listen to classical, or nature music ..... even stuff like that Braveheart music, anything to RELAX you.

I WOULD NOT advise going down the sleeping tablet/herbal road , popping pills everynight .... its addictive and you'll end up thinking you NEED them to sleep...try alternatives first bud ..... I NEVER EVER sleep proper, I am like a fuckin zombie who sleeps when it can .... but to help me die temp , I listen to stuff like Braveheart, Last Of the Mohicans, Lord of the rings soundtracks ...... I get relaxed and off in nod before long.

goodluck

No. This was my main concern as I am on SSRI medication. My doctor told me there was no conflict.

Room is dark, no noise and it is a good temp

I can go to sleep fast ok like yesraday I went to bed at 3am, and woke up a 7:30, that is only 4.5 hours of sleep, that is not enough at all.

Oh man. If I listen to that stuff it keeps me up. I LOVE that kind of music. Last of the Mohicans was a great score! One of my favorites was Gladiator. LOTR is also great.

Of course...I guess that's why I'm a Film Scoring major. :s

Hmm, One more suggestion you might want to try out ZMA, Zinc and Magnesium blend with some Vitamin B6 (if I recall correct). You can just buy the zinc, magnesium and b6 from the pharmacy. I've heard many cases where people aren't getting enough minerals/vitamins etc and they started taking zinc+magnesium supplements and were sleeping like babies.

Now I don't know if you're already taking vitamin/mineral supplements (I think you are, If you are a personal trainer? :))

Anyway, Good Luck :)

Another thing you might consider trying is GABA.
It has been known to improve sleep quality and lengthen the REM period, during which the body is rejuvinated the most. It also increases the secretion of HGH which peaks during the REM stages of sleep.

Taking GABA before bedtime can drastically improve the quality of what little sleep you are getting, even so much that you can get away with 5-6 hours a night and wake up completely energized! ;)
It is a well known and much used supplement in the world of bodybuilding.

You might have some weird dreams with it, though! :P
From what I've heard, your dreams become much more vivid and life-like. That can be either a blessing or a curse, depending on what kind of dreams you usually have! ;)

Last night I took 6mg of melatonin, and I slept better, I am going to hit a multi right now! Thanks a lot man

Sounds good man! Good luck, and keep us posted! :)

Your body may just be on a time clock, do you normally wake up around that time for work? Or used to? After you do something for 28 days in a row, it becomes habit, so if you have been settin yer alarm for that time, you're body will wake itself up.

Yep thats why I said this earlier. Stuff knocks me out. If you do buy the stuff separately, you need to make sure its the right dosage and right type though.

Yeah, I agree with the Braveheart and Gladiator soundtracks (I own them both) just make sure to keep them down a bit because they both have decently loud tracks on them.
