Another thing you might consider trying is GABA.
It has been known to improve sleep quality and lengthen the REM period, during which the body is rejuvinated the most. It also increases the secretion of HGH which peaks during the REM stages of sleep.
Taking GABA before bedtime can drastically improve the quality of what little sleep you are getting, even so much that you can get away with 5-6 hours a night and wake up completely energized!

It is a well known and much used supplement in the world of bodybuilding.
You might have some weird dreams with it, though!
